I got hit by a car today

anyway, the street on which i parked is one way and if you're a car leaving the parking lot, you can only turn left out of it but if you're a person walking to the dentist's you must turn right because the dentist's office is in the other direction. so i went to the dentist, had my cleaning and told the office about my ALS calendar and they wanted to buy some so i had to go back to my car to get them because i keep a stash in my trunk and then i had to walk back to the dentist's.
so since the road is one way, drivers leaving the parking lot tend to only look in one direction to make sure the coast is clear. i started walking across the street since the coast was clear and the driver, not looking plowed right into me.
what is it with me and cars these days? if i'm not getting ripped off by an alleged body shop worker and his son then i'm getting hit, what's up with that?
but i'm glad i sold them some calendars, it reminded me that getting hit by a car is not the worst thing in the world, especially if you can get up and stumble away afterward.

mom2my2cuties replied: Yikes! Chick you need to be more careful. I would get checked out by a doctor just to make sure you are fully ok. Even small bumps can cause SERIOUS damage.

honestly, Florida has the worst drivers, me included.
i'm going to photograph a model with a tiger today so let's hope the bad luck doesn't continue....
