I felt the baby move!
~Roo'sMama~ wrote: Last night (saturday) I was at Jennifer's watching tv and I felt it moving a LOT. I have felt the same thing before a couple times, but it was so hard to tell since I've never had a baby kicking around in my belly before. But last night it was happening over and over again ~ it felt so cool. It was kind of weird though... I'd had a lot of water and juice to drink so my bladder was pretty full, and after I went to the bathroom I only felt it a few more times. And today I've only felt it a couple of times. Not really sure what to think of that but it was still really cool.
FroggyJK replied: Woo Hoo!!! How exciting!!! I love feeling baby move!
MomToMany replied: It's the best part of being PG to me. Congratulations!
Your full bladder might have pushed your uterus up &/or out so it made it easier to feel a kick. Once you go to the bathroom, your uterus goes back to where it was. Hope that made sense, LOL.
CCTandME replied: Orange juice use to get my 1st going. Apple juice for my 2nd. 3rd liked both. Gotta love the little flutters!!
coasterqueen replied: Awww, how sweet!
Just wait before long your baby will be kicking so much you'll wanna offer them a car just to stop for a few minutes to give your bladder a rest. FWIW...it didn't work though, lol, at least for me.
5littleladies replied: Yep-what Mollie said. And what Karen said too. lol.
I'm so excited that you are starting to feel the baby! Yay!!
A&A'smommy replied: awwwww I MISS that!!!! Those little flutters are SO wonderful but just wait until your 8months preggo and the baby is using your bladder as a kick toy... its still great!!!
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Thanks Mollie. I kind of figured it might be something like that. Now I have a new motivation to start drinking tons of water!
ediep replied: awww, that is such a special time...soon those little flutters become hard jabs!
amynicole21 replied: Just wait a week or two and you'll be feeling them like crazy!! Right now my bean is rolling around like she's in gymnastics class
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I remember that so well. It is a feeling that will never leave my memory!! I'm so glad you are feeling baby now.
brie_kirk replied: I'm not sure there is a more hopeful feeling in the whole world!
GavinsMommy replied: That's so exciting!!! I wish I could feel that ALL the time. I love that feeling, whether it comes from a baby or not. It's just the coolest thing in the world. Just you wait though until you hit about 32/33 weeks. That is when it REALLY gets weird. The movement is so much more pronounced then. Congrats!! I felt my guy move at 16 weeks and now I wish he was back in there to feel it just once last time
chloe&tysmommy replied: awe that is the best feeling!!!!
mammag replied: Yeah, that is what really makes me sad about not having any more kids. To think I'll never feel that again....
Cherish it!!! (even when it starts to get painful and when you are tyring to sleep and that's when they decide it's time for gymnastics practice )
Josie83 replied: Wow Sara I'm so excited for you! you must be so happy. I agree that it is the most wonderful feeling. Enjoy it! xx
