I feel like I should be doing something - for Amy and others

We could have one person to facilitate the "project" and that person could collect donations(money or goods) from the rest of us who want to help and then send them to her!

MomToJade&Jordan replied: Helping Amy out with the groceries sounds like a good idea to me. As for the others you can make a donation to the Red Cross. I have been checking out the lists on various websites and a common thing on there is baby supplies. I am going to see if I can send my Mom some money so she can get things like baby food and diapers and bring them to one of the local places that are collecting these things. I just don't want the little ones to go without. Here is a link to a local website:

At this very moment the Red Cross seriously needs baby formula and bottles. There is an address there I would love to send them these things, but I don't know if they got the postal service up and running yet. They update this website everyday and it has information on how you can help. There is usually a live feed for coverage as well.

Kaitlin'smom replied: well here is my idea and let me know if this sounds good, we pick one person....and all send money to them possibly like an pay pal account where you can transfer money instantly (I do have one) we give a dead line and one that time hits the person finds a grocery store they shop at and send them a gift card.

Please let me know if you are interested in sending a donation I will need them by lets say Sunday (is that enougth time?) then monday I can order the gift card and have it sent directly to them.
