I don't know what I did to deserve this

They bought my old car awhile back so I could get a minivan and they are just two really sweet people. Well, the only night that my regular babysitter (my mom) will not ever babysit is Friday nights because she and her dh go out to dinner every friday. Well, that has put a bit of a cramp in our style since most of our friends get together for happy hours on Friday nights.

I went next door a few weeks ago to just see if my neighbors would ever be interested in babysitting for us and she said as a matter of fact yes. They just found out that they are expecting and they were wondering what they could do for fun. They came over the other day and spent an hour with K and they had a blast & K was awesome for them. The best part is....they don't want any money, they are just doing it because they love kids! OMG how did I get so lucky? Maybe some of that karma is coming back to me?

Well, if they won't let me pay them, I'll at least feed em good. I'm making chicken fajatias tomorrow night for dinner. We will all eat toghether and then DH and I are going out for a couple of hours..

MomToJade&Jordan replied: That is really cool. Jade has her Na Na which is Tonya to everyone else. When we really want to go somewhere she watches Jade and doesn't charge. In fact I think she is going to take Jade for a couple of hours this weekend so I can go see a movie.

We are in N Florida.

I'm a little nervous because it is the first time that someone besides her sitter or a family member will be watching her. However, I called my aunt (who lives next door) and she said she will be home if anything happens. whew! I'm such a worry wart.
