I decided today I don't want to be a - cowgirl/farm girl no more!!!!!!
TANNER'S MOM wrote: Okay, last night I went to the sale barn and bought a nanny goat. Our bottle goat died. So, I promised Tanner I would buy him a Momma that is fixing to have babies so she could take care of them, instead of us.
This morning I get up, and DH worked all night come in at 6 and told me were out of feed and hay. So, I get up and head to the feed store. The darn truck won't start. I get him up, and he works on it for over an hour. He was handing me bolts, nuts and screws to hold. I of course dropped the spring he had to have and still couldn't find it anywhere. We yelled at each other alot. Finally I got to the feed store and bought 400 lbs of feed and a truck load of hay. Came home and I'll be dipped if it doesn't start SNOWING!!! I had to unload all the feed and hay with the boys helping a bit, but not much! Then I had to feed and water everything. I had a cheap hose from Wal Mart that kept kinking up, so it took like an hour to water everything. Then I had to feed chickens and gather eggs!
Then I had to take and put the goat in a pen. Feed and water it. Since it was cold and snowing I had to take and tarp the whole pen and use rachet straps to make it stay. By then I was already for a nap!
Finally, got all that done and then I had to go grocery shopping! And stopped at Wal Mart and bought a good hose that would've been worth all the money in the world to me! Did that, came home and it was time to get DH up for work tonight and I had to cook supper! We did have a good fattening supper. Chicken fried steak and gravy. Fried wild mushrooms and chick peas. Yummy!
Now my house is destroyed, my laundry isn't done and guess what.. It's time to feed again! I am already wore out.
But I will get it done some how! Lord have mercy! I wouldn't mind a little apartment in town sometimes, with someone else to ever mow the yard!

I know the house in town sounds good every once in awhile but just think-that would mean everybody would be inside all day making you entertain them!
