I cut all my hair off - with pic

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Okay, it's always a huge adjustment when you go from a long hairstyle to a drastically short one. Don't despair. Give your self a week with it, go to the hairdresser and ask her to show you a few styling alternatives. I personally think it's a great cut and it has great potential. You're still in shock. I'll post a few pics of how my hair used to look and the cut I currently have. It was a huge adjustment.

How my hair looks now, I don't really like this pic because my nose looks like a ski jump, but here's me.

Short hair does grow on you, just give it some time.
I've been entertaining the idea of growing it out into an a-line cut that follows the line of my jaw, but I'm not quite ready to go through the torture of growing it out.

punkeemunkee'smom replied: First get some mouse (I love Paul Mitchell Volumizing) and Garnier makes a GREAT volume spray and also one called surf hair. YOu can kinda mess the back up not really spike it out just make it kinda tousled looking (Aimee is right VERY Meg Ryan!) Part the front however you like it-this cut is great with a side part and blow it dry after you spritz it with the volume spray-flat iron a few sections to give it a piecey look and finish with Surf hair spray or some palmade (one again Paul Mitchell makes an awesome one) It sounds like a lot of work but once you get it done the way you like it it is a snap! That is the first cut I went to when I chopped my hair too! LOVED it! It can be such a fun do! and the plus is you can make the back funky and put little clips in the front on days when you don't want to do anything with it and it still looks way cute!

Google short hair pics or even Martina or Lisa Rena hair pics for some great style ideas! Don't get discouraged! You will love it once you play with it!!

boyohboyohboy replied: lisa, i agree the cut is great for you! there is a hair mag i get at the grocery store that just shows off hair cuts, i cant remember the name,but in it there is a website and darn if i cant find that right now either, you can sign on and upload of pic of yourself and ty on different styles...it might help you find out you like, but honestly take everyones advice, it looks great.
