I could THROTTLE him.
Danalana wrote: Right before DH was going to bed last night, he says "Aww, I forgot to wash my work clothes!" He is a mechanic and gets all kinds of car crap on them, so he likes to wash them himself. SO, rather than making him wash and dry them before he could go to bed, I told him to put them in the washer and I would put them in the dryer when I got up at 6:30 (I have to take my mother somewhere before work). WELL, I haven't been sleeping well. I wake up several times to pee, and am usually awake every hour. I haven't woken up to my alarm clock in weeks because I wake up long before. Last night, I only went to pee once, and I was sleeping so well this morning. At 5:40, I wake up to DH getting in bed. he can't just do it easily...it feels like an earthquake. The washer and dryer are right outside our room, so I hear this huge clang every 5 seconds. Now I'm furious because he obviously didn't hear a word I said last night. I got up and turned them off. I went to the bathroom and then got back in bed. he said, "did you turn off my clothes?" I said "yes!" He wanted to know why and I seriously wanted to injure him. I told him this was the first night in WEEKS that I actually was sleeping well, and he just cut off 50 minutes of it! He doesn't think about that stuff because he freaking sleeps AT LEAST 8 hours each night, and he rarely ever gets up to go to the bathroom. Gah, I am so mad right now! OH! Did I mention that he didn't even check the lint filter? He never does, even though I have told him they don't dry as well if it's clogged--DUH! SO I get out of the shower and check it. i go in the room, waving an overly clogged lint filter and screaming "See this? Clothes don't dry when the lint filter is clogged!" I seriously want to

grapfruit replied: I feel for you. Tim likes to tell me something JUST as I get to la la land.
And at least he attempts to do his own laundry! One less thing for you...even if (of course) he doesn't do it right.
Lots of for you.

Welcome to hormones.
JK - I can relate. My dh doesn't TOUCH our laundry, only his.... but he doesn't usually even do his own lcothes, he sucks at it wayyyy too much. Oh AND he has schedules of when he CAN do it, when he actually does do it.
Seriously. I run smoothly. I have specific times that I do the laundry, since I have SO FREAKING MUCH of it. One load every morning when I get up, dry it just before lunch, fold it after lunch when the kids are down for their nap, unless they want to help then I wait for them to get up. Mondays I do an extra load of underwear. Wednesdays I do an extra load of whites (i add bleach or peroxide), Fridays I wash an extra load with the towels. Saturday, an extra load with all the soft toys that can go in the washer\dryer as well as the pillows that don't have feathers, and Sundays an extra load of all the bedsheets.
I hate laundry. Did I mention I hate laundry?

boyohboyohboy replied: dana, really lots of hugs to you, but i am seriously cracking up at the picture of you running around with the lint filter in your hand....
Danalana replied: Me too, now! It was soooo not funny at the time. I gave him down the road twice today about it I told him I am going to start waking him up everytime I wake up to pee or just wake up, in general. I think he's scared of me now
boyohboyohboy replied: maybe you could just start getting in and out of bed the way you described he does...and that should wake him enough, and if he complains tell him you are only thinking of him and wanting to help him get ready for a new born that wakes constantly!

Poor DH

Danalana replied: LOL! I sorta feel bad now, even though I wasn't really mean. You should have seen him...he had big rabbit eyes and he never said a word...
Calimama replied: LOL reminds me of the look DH had when I was pregnant and he told me we were out of pineapple.
Danalana replied: I don't think he moved at all last night...I think he was too afraid to
boyohboyohboy replied: its going to be a long 6 months for him isnt it? poor dh!
maybe this is the time to get some goodies out of him! send him to the store, to make up for the lint filter and then forgive him so he can sleep with both eyes closed not just one!
Danalana replied: LOL, I'm over it now Actually, I'm pretty easy to get along with...I just get a little crazy every once in a while
