Attitude is 90% of the battle
mommy~to~a~bunch replied: Thanks! I've also started each day with saying something positive about myself too, no matter how stupid it may sound.
Boys r us replied: ..hey when you're standing in front of the mirror alone, nothing sounds stupid
Good for you Mollie!
mommy~to~a~bunch replied: Well, it's hard when you have a hard time believing it.
Crystalina replied: I love them!
My2Beauties replied: Good for you. I always try to stay positive about myself and think nice things about myself nomatter how down in the dumps I feel. It helps! Believe me it goes a long way, you have to love yourself first.
Danalana replied: I think they're great, Mollie!
LOL, I have never said anything to myself in a mirror, but maybe I should
MommyToAshley replied: I love the new positive attitude! Keep it up and you'll start to believe it!
PrairieMom replied: Tomorrow you can say, I got Tara to BF. Boy, and what a snowball effect that had! Before you know it, I am raising worms in my basement and washing my clothes with soap nuts.
mommy~to~a~bunch replied: I'll do that LOL. I'm still amazed that I had that sort of influence on someone .
I LOVE the soap nuts too! They are awesome, even on the kids' dirtiest clothes! I soak the nuts for a few minutes in a glass of very hot water, then dump it all in the wash.
Danalana replied: Never heard of soap nuts, and why do you raise the worms? I'm intrigued!
gr33n3y3z replied: positive is the way of life
Dont look back just go forward
PrairieMom replied: Here is a site for soapnuts: http://www.thegreatergreen.com/naturalclea...CFRIhxgodtGNlTQ
I do Vermicomposting, in my basement, where you compost kitchen scraps to make organic dirt for gardens and planters using red wiggler worms. Its awesome! I have actually been able to reduce my family's garbage to just 2 kitchen bags a week because of that and recycling.
Crystalina replied: I'm all for composting but you can keep the worms! Waaay to messy and stinky for me. Kudos to you for having the stomach.
PrairieMom replied: I swear, its not messy, and esp not stinky. I swear!!! I was a little unsure about the whole thing too, but the worms are really effective at keeping the stink down. We have been having a blast with the whole thing. The kids fight over who gets to feel the worms, and watching them slowly turn our dinner into dirt is really amazing!
luvmykids replied: If it makes you feel any better, I have to do this sometimes too
I'm proud of you for choosing to make the effort to be positive ....it isn't always easy (if it was, what a wonderful world we'd live in ) but some days when nothing else is positive at least we have our positive thoughts
