moped wrote: I guess this is the latest craze, and they are so cool....check em out!
Anybody have them???? DO you love them?

CantWait replied: Omg how much would I love some of them. How much were they?
Boo&BugsMom replied: They look like an ordinary flip flop. So, what's the hype with them? Why are they the latest craze? Never heard of them.
moped replied: Marie, 39.95 for the shoe (the same color band comes with) and 14.95 for additional bands. Cool stuff eh!
mckayleesmom replied: They look like regular flip flops to me...you guys don't have flip flops there?
moped replied: They have interchangeable bands...so one sole and endless band colors to change!!!!
moped replied: Its the interchangeable bands for the flip floop
Of course we do and I am the flip flop QUEEN.........you click on the different colors to change the band color
Is the site not showing all the different band colors to click and change your shoe?
Calimama replied: OMG OMG OMG
Normally I'm super faithful to Reef's but...
Calimama replied: It is. I'm in love! TFS!
BAC'sMom replied: Those are cool
My3LilMonkeys replied: I think it is a great idea but yikes on the price....I know I am a total cheapskate buy I could buy 8 pairs of flip flops for the $40 I would spend on the original pair.
moped replied: I would be willing to bet that I have every pair of Reefs available!!!!!!!!!!
These are fab!
moped replied: You would croak if you knew what I spend on flip flops!
Calimama replied: They last wayyyy longer than cheapy ones!!!!
Calimama replied: LOL my DH is always like, "you already HAVE that pair.." Yeah but not in that COLOR.
My3LilMonkeys replied: I have a pair in my closet right now that I probably paid 3 or 4 bucks for 2 years ago...they're still in good enough condition that I'll get at least this summer out of them before I toss them. 3 years is plenty long enough for me to wear the same pair of flip flops, but to each her own.
Plus living in CA, I'm sure you get to wear them for more of the year than I do.
Calimama replied: Oh wow, maybe I'm really rough on them.
Yeah I wear them everywhere, all the time.. December, May, July... 24/7
I even wore them to IL in November. Which by the way, was a horrible decision.
Kentuckychick replied: I have some like these called "Switch Flops" that I got last year from the woman I nanny for who owns a gift shop. They're velcro and pretty cute... but I honestly never would have paid for them...
Switch Flops
I mean I can get like 30 pair of old navy flip flops (at 2/$5) by the time I buy the original pair and a couple of other styles of those.
Now the llBean flip flops are my personal fave... and I will spend money on them.
LLBean Island Flip Flops
MoonMama replied: OMG I so NEED those!!!!
moped replied: I know!!!! They are Sweet.
My sister can hook you up!
PrairieMom replied: wow. i would pay $25 for the shoes and ALL the bands, i wont even spend $40 on tennis shoes! i am so cheep
CantWait replied: WOWZERS!!!!!!!!!!!
CantWait replied: OMG Those are SUPER awesome too, and totally different all from eachother. I'm in flipflop heaven, and I live in Russia
Cece00 replied: I sort of dont get it, why pay so much for flip flops?? You can buy so many pairs for that amt of $$...I'd never pay that, I'll just go buy a ton of different pairs...
I also have pairs that have been in my closet for at LEAST 3 yrs, and still in very good shape...and I live in a state that is warm most of the yr- we wear shorts in December a lot of times...so I wear flip flops A LOT....I'm wearing them today....
Crystalina replied: I'm with you!!
That's just crazy for a flip-flop.
See, you guys spend that much for ONE pair but you are still wearing the same shoe actually. My cheapies give out BUUUUUT I can afford so many of them that I have all different colors, heights and textures. AND once my "favorite" pair are out I can bounce my butt right up to Wally World and replace them and still be able to afford milk and bread.
mckayleesmom replied: I think the concept is cool, but how many times have you worn the soles out of flip flops and sometimes broken the strap...I do it with at least one pair a year...so those would be a waste of mula for me. I wear mine alot though.
moped replied: I have SOOOOOO many pairs of flip flops/shoes that I could never wear any of them out........off the top of my head I have about 20 pair of flip flops, now with these I have about 15 plus, so i could never wear them out. Now casual and work shoes - OMG you guys would die!
I thought that was a great price considering the quality, but I do pay too much for things......... I do get what I pay for, so the quality is good....they wouldn't wear out in 10 years.......referring to 90% of my shoes
I LOVE SHOES!!!!!!!!!!
mckayleesmom replied: I'm just saying that for me..I tend to pick a favorite shoe and stick with it till it falls apart....
~Roo'sMama~ replied: It's a cool idea, but I'd never pay that much for a pair of flip flops... even a pair that would last a long time. Maybe if it was $40 for the base AND all the bands. But then if I wanted two different color bases I'd still have to pay another $40... not worth it for me. If I had that kind of money I'd just buy as many separate pairs as I wanted.
