I apoligize to those who were offended - by the pics of Cam......

CAMSMOM1 wrote: I was just notified that some were offended by the pictures of Cam I posted earlier.

Even though I had made the topic description a *warning* it still had upset some.

Sorry if it did, that wasn't my intentions. hug.gif

Ann

Nina J replied: You didn't offend me. I think it's safe to say we all know you didn't intend to offend anyone. hug.gif

Try not to worry about it wink.gif

ilovemybaby replied: It did not offend me either. dry.gif

EvesMom replied: I didn't find it offensive. We have all seen poop before, KW
IM?

C&K*s Mommie replied: ???? huh.gif really? someone was offended, even after posting a warning title? huh.gif

booey2 replied: Ann, you have no need to be worried, you did put the disclaimer in the title. I believe that as parents we have pretty much seen it all including finger painting with poop. rolling_smile.gif

jem0622 replied: I don't think you did anything wrong. You warned us beforehand. What-----ever!

lesliesmom replied: Ann, I'm surprised some where offended, even with your disclaimer. Who hasn't seen poop before?!? It's just not every day you see it used a an art medium. I, personally was not offended. I actually had to have a chuckle over because I was told a couple of weeks ago that my son (2 1/2) had done the same thing at daycare and "painted" the wall and highchair. So far, that's the only time its happened so lets hope the same goes for you. I found making sure that he has a good tight pull-up/diaper on works well. Plus, like I read in your post, one-piece outfits works too.

BAC'sMom replied: You didn't offend me. After 3 kids I have seen lots of poop, never on a wall though. rolling_smile.gif

TANNER'S MOM replied: As a Mod I would like to say that some were offended, but the decision was made due to the graphic nature of the post. We aren't the only ones who read such posts, we do have sponsors and other people. Just because we label something graphic doesn't mean it covers all.. KWIM.

I am sorry that Cam is having those problems and hope he feels better soon.

While I appreciate the support we give each other, I think this thread needs to stay postive.

I know Ann didn't mean to offend anyone.. I think it's great you are saying you are sorry. That takes a big person!

Mel

C&K*s Mommie replied: Thank you, Mel. smile.gif I understand. smile.gif

luvbug00 replied: Thank you Ann for posting it as not for all. I didn't read that post due to the fact that you warned it might be TMI. I aprricated the warning and I think you did the right thing. wink.gif hug.gif

Bee_Kay replied: Hmmm.. I wasn't offended at all. hug.gif Ann!

Mom2BNTN replied: Like you said Ann.....you warned us all about how gross the pics would be. I wasn't offended at all. hug.gif

Crystalina replied:
I was not offended in the least bit Ann. hug.gif hug.gif I don't get offended easily. wink.gif Not to put anyone else's thread down because I love to read them all (even the gross ones blush.gif ) but if no one got offended about the 'Eating Placenta' thread I'm not sure why your pics offended. rolling_smile.gif

Let Me Add!

I enjoyed the whole eating of the placenta thing. It was truly disgusting but at the same time I learned that people actually do that. Ya learn something new everyday. rolling_smile.gif

Oh, I just wanted to add that about 3:00am, my time (the night Ann posted)she pmd me because she wanted me to look at the pics because she didn't want to offend anyone. It's been stated already but I'm just going to chime in also that Ann, of course, did not intend to gross anyone out.

Sarah&Mackenzie replied: I was NOT offended by any means. You put a "Warning" in the thread so people had a choice to look or not look!!!

luvmykids replied: Ann also asked me if she should post those, I see what Mel is saying about sponsors, on the other hand this is a parenting board and poop is a part of parenting! I was not offended and Ann, your apology to those who were was very sweet. hug.gif hug.gif

My2Beauties replied: I think Mel did a good job of explaining why the pictures needed to be removed. Like she said we do have sponsors and we have to keep them happy as well if we want to continue to come out here and enjoy this forum. I know as parents we have all seen poop before and what not, but some may not have wanted to see another child's poop if you KWIM, there were some comments made so we removed the post. I think to offend someone is a harsh word (to me that means you said something specifically marked at a person or belittled them in some way, IMHO, that is what that means) but I think that maybe grossed out is a better word, I think offend makes someone sound like a bad person and we all know Ann is a wonderful person.

I too, am sorry that you are having this problem with Cam and I hope itgets better. As far as the Desitin eating goes, that's pretty serious, I would contact poison control to make sure you are looking for signs as that stuff is toxic.

hug.gif hug.gif You did do the right thing by posting the warning label, it was just a decision we had to make. Thanks for understanding. hug.gif

C&K*s Mommie replied: Thank you LeaAnn for the clarification. I understand more, now. smile.gif

CAMSMOM1 replied:

I completly understand why the mod's took the post off. wink.gif There are sponsers, and others' that didn't want those type of pictures on the board. I know it wasn't anything personally against me, but there is a standard on to which pictures should be posted.

Thank you all for understanding. hug.gif
