Exactly.....I even measured and it still came out about 3/4 of an inch off......I need one of those laser things that stick to the wall and make a line....

DH has a great eye for that kind of stuff, I don't understand HOW he can do that with just looking, mine always come out so crooked.

sparkys2boys replied: I always just wing it.. and then turn out preatty good! What about marking on the wall with a pencil and then lining it up with the tape?

See if I measure they're WAY off, if I eye ball it they look great. Tim. He makes me so mad, he gets them perfect every time, but won't do it until I'm cursing b/c I hit my finger or something

HuskerMom replied: They're always crooked when I do it too. I'm even worse at driving nails into the wall. I usually bend about a dozen of them before I get one in right.

luvmykids replied: Do you mean when a frame needs two nails? I put a piece of paper on the back of the frame, make pencil marks where the nails need to go, tape the paper on the wall so I can make sure it's straight, then tap the nails on top of my pencil marks
