I am so mad at DH......

That means if I have a job come Monday, I won't even see him on Valentines Day because he has to be at work at 4 pm

I can't say I relate, though, because I have to work late on V-Day too. They scheduled our Lobby Day on that day and I'll be doing good to get home by midnight. So my hubby will be celebrating it alone with the girls. He will bring them up once so I can nurse Megan, but that's about it. Unfortunately, gotta work when you gotta work. I'm sure your DH didn't mean for it to happen that way.

Oh well... we will just make plans to come on here and chat that night and have a glass of wine (or 2) together.

C&K*s Mommie replied: I will be stressing out in class, over my mid-term. But we never do anything special anyhow for V-day. Two other events fall right around that time anyhow, so we just bundle it together and go to dinner on another less busy night.

Justin always goes on a trip with his Dad & brother on V-Day, but this year, they moved it to Thursday, and he'll be gone the rest of the week, home on Sunday. So I've grown accustomed to spending that day by myself.

But we always celebrate early. Why not find a sitter, and go out on Monday night?

To me, it doesnt matter if we celebrate on the actual day, as long as we do something together. KWIM?

Why don't you surprise him with a nice dinner on Monday, a movie, and make his favorite desert, with some wine. Sometimes us women have to take these things in our hands, plan it out, and make a nice time out of it.

I hope you guys get some alone time, and have a nice V-Day!
