I am so mad I could spit nails
MyBrownEyedBoy wrote: All is quiet on the home front now, Logan is asleep and Aaron is at his boss's house watching movies. But I came home to a trashed house, no effort made to straighten anything up. And when I asked Aaron when Logan last had a sippy cup. He said, "He hasn't had one today." A bottle, then? No. My baby hadn't had anything to drink since he woke up this morning and had his morning bottle. And Aaron didn't get why I was upset. Hello, Logan can't tell you, "I'm thirsty". You have to offer him the cup. So I gave him a 9 ounce cup and he downed it. Just sat on my lap and slurp, slurp, slurp. Geez, I felt so bad. Like I am the bad parent. I assumed that Aaron could find and fill a sippy cup, but apparently he has NO STINKING CLUE!!!!
Insanemomof3 replied: Men are so dumb sometimes. Glad he got something to drink from you. You are NOT a bad parent!!!!!
SOUTHERN MOMMY replied: Girl i'm mad at him for you That is just plain dumb. Thats how men are they don't think. Did he feed him? Looks like when he fed him he would have gave him something to drink then at least. Poor little guy to you for not beating daddy on this one.
Tiffany
Oh- how hong were you gone and maby he just can't remember and actually gave him one at some point.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: He fed him snack foods all day. So he was full and didn't want any dinner. I was at work from 6am til 4:30pm. And I know he didn't have anything because there were no dirty sippys or bottles. And Logan never drinks 9 ounces at one sitting, then 3 more ounces of juice not half an hour later.
SOUTHERN MOMMY replied: Poor baby
Hey make daddy go all day tomorrow without anything to drink Let him know how it feels KWIM?
SOUTHERN MOMMY replied: OH and don't beat yourself up over it. You are a great mommy
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: I am kind of hoping the juice and pears he ate for dinner will create a monster of a poo for Dad tomorrow while I am at work. Serves him right.
SOUTHERN MOMMY replied: I'll pray for that
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Thanks, I won't go so far as to wish for an exploding diaper one, but I would love a filled to the brim one.
SOUTHERN MOMMY replied: Oh o.k. like ozzing out the sides and up the back I got it.
My prayer: dear Lord, Please for kelly give logans daddy a poopie diaper that he will never forget and while your at it Lord let him get it all over himself and let Little logan laugh at him. And one more thing Lord don't let the dumb daddy forget to give Logan a few sippy cups today. Amen
I'm sorry everyone i know that ain't right.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Tiffany, thank you so much for making me laugh. I totally needed to.
mummy2girls replied: some men are just like that! I could name ALOT of idiaotic things aron has done when watching jenna:( your not a bad mommy dont worry! ill send some exploding dioaper vibnes your hubbies way...LOL
SOUTHERN MOMMY replied: Always my pleasure I need mental help i can tell you that for sure
CantWait replied: Freaking clueless men are!!!!!!!
PrairieMom replied: Nice. what was he thinking? Good grief!
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: I left a full container of carnation breakfast for Logan in the fridge, a spaghetti meal on the counter, a sippy of juice in the fridge and 2 clean sippy cups on the counter. If I have to start leaving him written instructions on caring for Logan now after he's had him weekends while I work for over a year, I'll scream.
moped replied: Is that like the milkshake? Does he like it?????????????????
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Logan is on the small side and a dietician in the hospital after his surgery suggested we mix his milk with carnation instant breakfast for added calories and vitamins and minerals. He loves it and almost won't drink plain milk now.
PrairieMom replied: How-d it go? your Hubby remember to feed Logan?
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: He still fed him snack food all day. But at least he had his drinks.
DansMom replied: When I went back to work, it took DH some time to get on track with everything that is involved. Hopefully your DH, like mine, will learn!
My2Beauties replied: Well I'm glad he at least gave him something to drink Any word on the poo, did he do a good one for dad?
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Yes, he did. Aaron said it was really bad. Hehe, serves him right.
ammommy replied: Now that's Karma
