I am reclaiming my house!!!!

hoosier momma replied: Mine is coming down tonight also. I usually take it down the day after Christmas, but I had to work this year. I've actually found a home for all of the new toys and washed all of the new clothes, so that is some progress.

lovemy2 replied: I took my tree down yesterday - and will do the rest this weekend - I actually didn't put out even half of my Christmas stuff this year I was too busy and for some reason not in the mood - DH worked on Christmas Day this year so that puts a big damper on things.......

Boo&BugsMom replied: I've decided to do that this weekend as well. Some of my winter stuff will stay up, but the tree is going to be gone. I love having my tree up, but after Christmas I'm just sick of it taking up so much room. I really wanted it up for New Years, but I"m tired of keeping Aiden away from it.

Cece00 replied: Well- I got a start. I threw away all the Christmas cards, and DH emptied the stockings & stacked them up so I can put them away. I also put up more of the Christmas stuff.

I think my ex is taking my older 2 this weekend, if he does, I will def. get onto it when the 2 babies are napping since they wont be underfoot.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: We completely cleaned out the Christmas stuff yesterday, and I am sooooooooooooooo HAPPY!!! The tree is sitting on our sidewalk ready for the boyscouts to pickup tomorrow, woohoo! We also went to Walmart and bought all new plastic tubs for the toys. So now everything is packed away, organized and on shelves. The holiday decor is stored under the stairs. I even found a nice wreath storage bin, yay! Okay, tooting my own horn, but I am VERY pleased to put the holidays behind me!

I bought storage bins before we even opened gifts. LOL when "Santa" brought all that food I whiped out that bin faster than the kids could unwrap! I have reclamied my living room, all except what has to go out in the garage attic. Dh will haul it out tomorrow. My living room looks like a day home. I will have to post pics tomorrow. Ben and I were very busy today.
