amymom replied: I'm Back. We decided to do an 'ablation' of the Uterus. I am going to get the surgery date this afternoon or tomorrow. I am going to research this surgery too, then I will better be able to explain it. But my understanding is that they burn the lining of the uterus and it is done in same day surgery.

Thanks for all the good thoughts, This really wasn't unexpected but I was hoping for a magic pill or something. Unfortunately, I am not a good canidate for HRT or BC pills so forget that!!! Oh well.
