I am growing out of my maternity clothes

Ok, so I guess I started out about 7-10 pounds or so heavier than I did when I was preg with Jason. The weight I am now, was the weight that I was just before I gave birth to Jay. blush.gif I haven't gained a lot, maybe about 12-13 pounds so far, but my clothes that I wore when I was preg with Jay are too tight blush.gif
The full panel (which was mostly what was available 4 years ago) pants hurt my belly. I have to go and buy some new pants. I found some on clearance at Target, but they only had 2 pairs in my size. I bougth them both, but I don't think thats going to be enough for the next three months. blush.gif

Boys r us replied: Ohhhh Edie!! I understand your delima!!!! I too am outgrowing some of my favorite maternity clothes. I gained 80 pounds with Braed(OMG...) and I only lost about 50 of it for good and then yo-yo dieted back and forth with the other 30 over the last 4 yrs. Anyhow..I've gained 30 pounds so far this time around..ughh so I'm borderline being right where I was when I was pg with Brae! mad.gif blush.gif mad.gif

anyways..iut's fun to go shopping and get cute, trendy maternity clothes anyways!!! So GO SHOPPING GIRL!

BTW..have you guys decided on a name for your little princess yet?

ediep replied:
I know, I know....I hate the malls during back to school time, so I'll have to go in a few weeks when the crowds subside. Anyway, I definaetly will need a few pairs of pants for the fall

I think we are gong to name her Emma Sofia.

We decided on Sofia because Scott's grandfather passed away a few weeks ago and he was Jewish, his name was Solomon. We decided to use the Jewish tradition of taking the first letter of the person who passed away and using it to name the next baby. BUT since I am not Jewish and Emma won't be Jewish, I didn't want to compromise on her first name blush.gif

maniacmaggiesmom replied: Wow, I'm only three months along and my maternity pants already fit. They're still a tad loose but still.

It does make one worry.

boyohboyohboy replied: I love the name emma! I wanted to tell you I got some cheap matnerity clothes on line at fashionbug.com when I was preg.

Boys r us replied: Love the name! wub.gif

ZandersMama replied: Glad i'm not on my own in this one! I gained 30 lbs already so NOTHING from last time fits! I'm in DH's sweats right now.................... blush.gif

amynicole21 replied: Just wear a bunch of Scott's clothes... or comfy sweats! LOL! I grew out of my clothes about 6 weeks before Nora was born and had to wear the same two outfits over and over blush.gif

A&A'smommy replied: AWWWIEEE I LOVE the name and maternity clothes shopping is SOOOO much fun!!! love2.gif

Cece00 replied: I hear you...I was down to TWO pairs of shorts and about 4 shirts that still fit when I had Jack. I had a couple of pairs of pants that would do in a pinch (in other words, if I didnt need to wear them more than 1-2 hrs) but that was it. I spent a LOT of time @ home in my pajamas pants & DH's tshirts. tongue.gif

MyBabeMaddie replied: Oh don't feel bad I totally outgrew my maternity clothes by like 5 months!! My maternity clothes are fitting nicely now that i'm almost 5 weeks post partum sad.gif

My2Beauties replied: I would just wear sweats as well, you don't have too long to go, sweats and big shirts. Now I don't know if you're a SAHM or not, for the life of me, I should know this as long as you've been a member, but as far as work is concerned, they'll understand, just buy some outfits to last 3-4 days at a time and mix match them, make sure they can be mix matched. I wore the same clothes to work every single week in and out, I had like 3 shirts that fit towards the end and like 3 pairs of pants. Other than that, I wore pajama pants or sweat pants with Brian's white t-shirts. wub.gif
