I am LMBO right now

We get a call from a 15 year old girl. This girl has been a habitual PITA for us because she is always running away, causing chaos the whole 9 yards. Well she just recently got suspended from school for some reason or another. Her parents are both very successful people. They have tried counseling, scare tactics, everything! Nothing has worked. Well the Dad told her she is not to go ANYWHERE for the 10 days plus the weekends while she is suspended. When she goes back to school she is only to go to school and she is to come straight home. Well he purchased one of those dog collar things which has a base and it will give you a shock if you are 100 yards from the base of it. He rigged it up on an ankle bracelet the people on GPS wear and it can only be taken off with a key. It is reinforced so it can't be cut off. She wants to know if it's fair and legal for her dad to do this to her.

As I said, I'm sure this wasn't the answer but it's pretty inventive and pretty darn funny.

bawoodsmall replied: thats not legal is it? Very inventive though.

sparkys2boys replied: rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif OH MY!

Calimama replied: Sounds painful. Could that hurt her?? It is pretty inventive. happy.gif

amynicole21 replied: Oh man, that is a GREAT idea! I'm sure it's not legal though...

holley79 replied:
It's not a very strong zap but enough to get your attention. As long as she stays within the 100 yards she's ok emlaugh.gif

No it's not legal. DCF told him he had to take it off but it was still funny as h***

Calimama replied:

gr33n3y3z replied: They should market it for kids like her LOL

austins mom replied: wow. very inventive. but i dont think thats legal..

A&A'smommy replied: rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif You gotta do what you gotta do!!!!

BAC'sMom replied:
I've been saying that for years biggrin.gif

holley79 replied: The deputies said if it were up to them they would have let dad keep it on her. DCF was another story though. rolleyes.gif emlaugh.gif

grapfruit replied: That SHOULD be legal!! Sounds like they're almost going to have to hire a baby sitter for her rolleyes.gif

What's DCF stand for?

MommyToAshley replied: rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif

Well, I guess the only other thing to do is to hire a babysitter or it's time for Mom or Dad to stay home with her.

My2Beauties replied: rolling_smile.gif It should be legal for problem teens like her. Darn! That's funny!

holley79 replied:
She would run away with mom at home. She would just push her out of the way and out the door she would go. Sorry sounds like someone needs a boot up their behind to me. She has called us on her dad for "beating" her. We ruled it parental discipline. rolleyes.gif

DCF= Deparment of Children and Families.

aka take parents rights away in some cases. I know they are there for a reason so no need to debate the need for them

CantWait replied: WOW that's funny as hell. Sounds like he needs to become an inventor.
