Mommy2BAK wrote: at the hospital, got here yesterday... My grandma and I switched early this week because I was asked to get up here so that I can BRING AVERY HOME TOMORROW!!!!! (Just typing that literally gave me chills) I am learning how to care for her and all her special little things we have to do to take care of her G-Tube and oxygen. Not even gonna lie, I am sooo nervous. The other kids are staying with different family members this weekend so that Larry and I can get adjusted with Avery.
mckayleesmom replied: Awww...I'm so glad she is finally comming home. I can't imagine how nervous and scary that can be at the same time.
Danalana replied: Yay, she's going home!! I know you're nervous, but you will get the hang of it just fine. And, before you know it, she won't need any of that stuff
moped replied:
How long will she have the feeding tube????
PrairieMom replied: its gonna be fine. Definitely a learning curve, but You have come through so much, learning how to work a feeding tube is small potatoes.

I can certainly understand being nervous, but you will do just fine.
Mommy2BAK replied: Only Avery can tell us how long. She has yet to learn how to swallow, so for now the tube will be connected through a button hole in her tummy. Speech therapy will be coming to our house all the day to work with her feedings.
Calimama replied: That's awesome!!
