I HAD to buy him a doll!

MoonMama wrote: My mom, little sister, Braedin and I went to Toys-R-Us a while ago. I needed to get a few (non-toy) things for Braedin plus a friend told me they were having a sale on Nike shoes (they weren't BTW it was other shoes, but we still came home with 4 pairs 2 being Nikes dry.gif). Anyway Braedin saw Cheetah Girls stuff, my sister picked a singing one up and pressed the button. Well at that point we weren't leaving the store without his favorite girl's singing doll. rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif

luvbug00 replied: what a wonderful mommy to get it for him! wub.gif already lovin' the ladies emlaugh.gif

Anthony275 replied: you think thats bad? i found my arthur doll i had in 1st grade yesterday and i have yet to put it down

Calimama replied: He can practice being a DADDY! I bet he's beyond adorable with it. wub.gif

AlexsPajamaMama replied: Little boys can play with dollies. Makes them well rounded young men!
I think its so cute, Alex has a doll that I used to play with at my Nana's when I was little.

Calimama replied: PS... where's our pictures of him with it? biggrin.gif

MoonMama replied:
Ok I'll take some tomorrow as he's in bed now. wink.gif

BTW he has other dolls I have know issue with him having dolls. I just think its funny that he is so obsessed with The Cheetah Girls, and that he has a favorite one. rolling_smile.gif Oh I am in trouble. unsure.gif Maybe when he is a few years older I'll take him to a concert if they are still around.

Calimama replied:
Oh yessssssss you are. At this rate he's going to be married by 10. rolling_smile.gif

MoonMama replied:
Well Miabella just better tell him she isn't marrying him until they are 35. wink.gif emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif

Calimama replied:
Don't worry, DH has it covered. He's drilling that into her every chance he gets. rolling_smile.gif

lisar replied: Awwww. I am glad you bought it for him. Little boys practicing to be daddy's.

sparkys2boys replied: Aww that's to cute! Alot of boys play with dolls, no bid deal I agree!

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif
I bought my niece the Hannah Montana barbie for Xmas and it wasn't easy to get out of Wil's hands at the store. I had to remind him who it was for and wrap it right away! My boys have cabbage patch dolls and strollers...no biggie to me either. wink.gif

redchief replied:
My mother still has a very embarrassing picture of me posing alongside my sister. She was holding a Raggedy Anne Doll, and me a Raggedy Andy. I was scarred for life, I tell you.

sparkys2boys replied:
So this is the reason for how you are now..lol??? tongue.gif tongue.gif

holley79 replied: That is so cute.

MommyToAshley replied: Awwww, thats' cute!

I see no difference in boys playing with dolls and girls playing with cars. Good for you, Mom, for not stereotyping!

MoonMama replied:
Thanks. happy.gif DH and I are all for boys playing with dolls and girl with cars etc. thumb.gif

I'll get pics of him with it I promise Denise but a the moment he is being a cranky AHHHHHHHH YOU SO MUCH AS LOOKED AT ME butt. rolleyes.gif

CantWait replied: Ya I remember the time I had to get Anthony a baby doll because he wanted my friends daughter's so bad.

Thank you dollar store. smile.gif
