How old are you according to your kids?
MommyToAshley wrote: According to Ashley, I am 5 years old.
I was feeling quite young again until she told me that mamal was 3 yrs old and papal is 4 years old.
mammag replied: Conner says I'm 10. 10 is a magical age to him when he's going to do Jiu-Jitsu and drive. It's funny how they look at different ages.
Jamison'smama replied: Wll I just asked Jamison and she said I am 4. I think that makes me the youngest so far. She is also 4 and it is always 4:00 so I'm not really sure I can be too excited about that.
atlantamomof2 replied: Maggie says she thinks I'm 19! Whoo-hoo
A few other ages she thinks she understands:
10 yrs old is when she thinks she'll get to watch movies & shows she can't watch now, (including Mommy & Daddy movies, and Sponge Bob! )
100 yrs old is when she thinks people die (Although my Dad and Grandfather have both passed away and they weren't 100-and she knows it! )
When she's a "Mama" she thinks is a good age to get her ears pierced.
Etc., Ect., Ect. I could go on and on. I don't know where she gets this stuff from!
Kaitlin'smom replied: humm I will have to ask her that and get back to you
My2Beauties replied: Probably Ancient! Desiree knows my age but she is 9, Hanna wouldn't know what I was talking about yet..she can count up to three though! So probably 3!
ammommy replied: I'm 79 according to Alec. That's the magic age when you get to play with the little legos, drive, be a mommy, and mow the grass. How mowing the grass is a treat, i don't know I asked how old Grammy is and he said "oh, really old. She's 8" I love kids!
atlantamomof2 replied: I think that's one of those things that LOOKS fun until you HAVE to do it! There are so many of those things too. Why is that?!?
alice&arik replied: I just asked Arik and he said 12. He was pretty unsure though, I had to ask him a few times.
Alice replied: Brian just told me I'm 800.
kit_kats_mom replied: Woo Hoo! I've got you all beat. I just asked K and she said I was 2. Wait a minute...that makes her older than me!
loveydad replied: Henry knows, Kelton and Vincent know I'm 45 but love to accidently say I'm35 or something.
i asked Tracy once. Cause she was saying she was 2 and Vincent and Kel were 5. SHe told me "Daddy, you're very old" and patted my hand. UH!?
ammommy replied: Now she can boss you around
TANNER'S MOM replied: This is funny.. My kids think I am so old My teenager even said to me, MOm you are from the "cassette" era..and then I didn't mention..nope lp's 78 or 45??
Tanner says he will move out when he is 40. Which is fine by me. He can drink when he is 29?? And he can drive when he is 10.
But he tells everyone Mom says it's ok if I move out when I am 40. Someone asked him one time what about a wife. He said she would w/ him at Mom and Dad's b/c she wouldn't know to shoe his horse like MOM AND DAD too. Ok, Mom has never really shoes a horse, she has assisted..but never done it..so who knows!
Mandasmomma replied: Manda told me I was 16 yesterday. When I was complaining about being treated like a child on the phone to someone - I said, "I'm not 16 anymore ..." and Manda shouted, "Yes, you are mommy, you are 16 now!!"
At least she thinks I am older then my own mom does!!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Oh, Maddie knows all of our ages and b-days. As well as her grandparents. This is something she went thru last year. She also learned how everyone is related, etc. ie: "So, Nana is YOUR mommy, right?" And so on and so forth.
All of this came about the same time. I guess right at turning 3.
Josie83 replied: Cassie knows that I'm 21, or one and twnety more as she likes to say it. She tells everyone that Jason's 21 as well, even though he's just turned 22. try teling her that though! I did, and it wasn't well received. "Cassie, daddy's not 21 any more, he's 22." Cue crossed arms and a shake of the head "NO mummy, he's on and tewnty, just like you." And believe me the conversation didn't stop there! xx
mummy2girls replied: OMG guys jenna said i was 40! I cant believe this...LOL
