How often do you wash your jeans?

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Um, I usually wear the same pair for 2 or 3 days (I only have 3 pair total). So, when they get something dropped or smeared on them. Or for sure after 3 wears.

alice&arik replied: I usually wear them about 3 times, unless it is sloppy snow out then I have to wash them every time. But in between washes I throw them in the dryer to make them look fresh and not wrinkled.

Brias3 replied: With most pants, including jeans, I typically wear them twice before washing. Unless of course they get dirty, look really wrinkled, etc. Nicer pants I usually only have on for a short amount of time anyhow (going out or whatever) so I usually can get two wears out of them.

hoosier momma replied: I wash jeans every time I wear them. With my sloppiness and an almost 15 month old, it is impossible not to have something on them.

Our Lil' Family replied: I can usually only get 2 wears out of them before they are too stretched out and looking horrible.

ediep replied: depends on where I wear them. If i am just around the house, then I'll wait a few days, but if I go somewhere that I have to sit...like the park bench, or the bleechers at Jason's soccer game, or even the mall food court...I wash them..

Kaitlin'smom replied: well I currently only have 1 pair that fit right, so I hardly wear them and when I do its for a short while, I am not a fan of the one pair I have. I have a favorite pair that I almost can wear again. It just depends on where I wore them and for how long.....

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: I don't like saggy wrinkled jeans, I like them crisp and fitted, so I like them when they are first washed best, but I probably wear them about 2-3 times before washing. I probably even go longer without washing for my more expensive jeans because I like to keep their dark rich color. I've noticed the more I spend on jeans, the better they keep their shape and no need to wash as much. Fit about the same each time I wear them. So I'm guilty for spending the most money on my jeans for this reason.

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Bah. I wash them every couple times I wear them. I pretty much cycle 4 or 5 pairs of pants... and now and then I'll toss em in the wash. Or if I'm going out and want to wear one of them, I'll wash them first.

(with 5 kids... who'd care if I was a little messy? It's not like it's not expected... lol)

Boys r us replied: I usually wash them after each wear b/c I don't like them when they get all stretched and loose, I like them to fit well. I've also noticed when I buy better quality jeans, they stay in shape better Rae(seven's)!

luvmykids replied: I have different jeans for different reasons....If I have a lot of outside work I wear my sloppy jeans and only wash them every few wears. My "good" jeans get washed and starched as needed, with the startch I can usually wear them at least twice, and my running around jeans get washed about every other wear.

I actually have the opposite problem, my sevens especially strech out after about an hour of wearing them so I definately have to wash after each wear.
