How often do you get your hair cut?

5littleladies replied: I'm the same way-I rarely get mine cut because I hate the bother of it. And the kicker is I do not like my hair long, but thanks to my laziness it tends to be on the long side most of the time. I probably get mine cut twice a year.

mckayleesmom replied: I try to get mine done every 6 weeks, but sometimes its every 9 instead. My hair is long and thick and when it reaches a certain point and needs to be cut,,the ends curl up and it looks awful.

A&A'smommy replied: I usually try to get it done every 3months but that doesn't always happen I need to go get new highlights and a trim but I wanted to wait until I could get a manicure (I got a gift certificate for christmas for like 125dollars)

paradisemommy replied: once a year sounds about right for me..but i just go in for trims - my hair is long and i don't have time to style or blow dry so basically, it's wash and wear (or rather wash and pony tail)

SweetDream replied: I havent had mine cut since Oct 2003 and it is just past shoulder length. However they cut my hair way too short, a boys cut, not what I wanted at all. I prefer having my hair cut in layers just above shoulder length, just barely long enough to get into a ponytail. And she pulverized my hair, I was like a GI jane or something when she was done and I was stunned with shock. Its taken this long to grow it back.
I also delivered Sept 11 '04 and I think my pregnancy put my hair on halt. It is now long enough that I would enjoy a haircut.

Boys r us replied: I get mine cut every 6-8 weeks when I get my highlights/low lights done.

coasterqueen replied: Well I get mine cut probably twice a year if that and that's only if and when I get highlights. I'd LOVE to get it done more often but it's so expensive I can barely afford the two times I do go.

But year before-last year a did my cute early, so I had sholder length hair... after it beign down to the mid of my back..... then a few months later my little cousin put gum in my hair when I was asleep.... and we were way out in the middle of no where.... over 100 milles down river from the town..... and we tred everything we could to get it out, and it just wasn't coming out... so my Aunt cut it short..... cause it was way in there..... but she did it with scissors..... and an awful job @ that..... so when I got back to town, my grandma was pissed, and took me to a beauty solon..... and they fixed it, so it was even.... but it looked like I shaved my head like they do for the military... it was about an inch and a 1/2 long..... well then a few months later My sister and I put that color stuff for Halloween in our hair..... It was Blue!!!! Well when we went to wash it out... it wouldn't come out.... so I went around town for 2 months with Blue hair...... then when we went to the city, my grandma took me to a beauty solon again, and they tryed to dye it... and that didn't work, so they cute it all off again.... so I was back down to 1 inch again.....

So it took me from Dec. of 2003 to July to grow my hair to my sholders..... then I went in for a trim..... 1 maybe 2 inches off... and the hair dresser cut it short.... so I haven't gone back to a hair dresser since and my hair is finally to my sholders, and I can put it in a pony-tail..... even though 1/2 of it falls out in the back from being too short still.....

But normally once a year I cut it.... But right now I'm growing it out, cause me and my husbend are gunna have a real wedding.... since we just had a friend marry us, and a week later we found out I was 4 weeks prego..... and we just didn't have the time or money to plan one.... cause we were moving to Virginia from Alaska.....

We were gunna have a real wedding on our first Anniversery, but we don't have the time to plan it, cause we are moving back to Alaska in 2 months......

kit_kats_mom replied: Well, it depends. For the first two years of my DD's life, I think I had it cut twice. I let my bangs grow out while I was on maternity leave and so I had it trimmed when she was one but other than that nothing. That's the beauty of having long hair.

When K was 2 I got my hair highlighted and had more of a style so I went every 2-3 mos but that got expensive and time consuming to keep up so I've let it go all one color again and will probalby not get it cut again for awhile.

My2Beauties replied: I get mine done every 6-8 weeks whenever I get my higlights and lowlights put in! I used to not be able to go that much at all and I dyed my own hair, but it got to be too time blah, those store colors can really make for a brassy look when going blonde, so I opted for highlights and lowlights and wish I'd never dyed my own hair in the first place! I need to take a recent pic because boy has my hair changed a lot! I have real dark underneath and the ends of the underneath are longer than the rest of my hair then I have blonde and dark brown chunks going through the rest of it! Sounds weird but I love it, I just got mine cut and highlighted Saturday as a matter of fact!! I love getting my hair done!

My nails...that's a different story, they look hideous right now
