How often do you?

Nina J replied: - Clean the toilet? I clean mine every few days. It grosses me out a bit, we all use the same toilet and I think with kids, they're not always the best at wiping the seat, flushing, etc. So, I like to know it is clean.

- Clean the shower/tub? I hate doing this and only do it maybe every 2 weeks...if I remember

- Change the sheets? Once a week. My friend changes hers once a month. I couldn't imagine going that long, I looove clean sheets!

- Sweep/vacuum the floors? Daily.

- Wipe the benches? Daily, and after preparing food.

- Clean the sink(s)? I wipe them down daily after I do the dishes and I scrub with bi-carb/vinegar maybe once a week.

- Clean the oven/stove top? I wipe up spills if they get on the stove top, otherwise once a week.

- Clean appliances? I wipe them down every few days.

luvbug00 replied: until my parents got maids, every week on all the above. we aren't messy people and if there is a larger then expected mess we will clean it up at that moment.

but now that my parents have maids.....never.

- Clean the toilet? Pretty much daily, European toilets don't have as much water pressure so as soon as you ummmm do a 2, it's nasty dirty.

- Change the sheets? I'm really bad at this, when they lose that fresh feeling / smell, and when dh's drool marks start to show to much.

- Clean the oven/stove top? Oven, maybe ever couple months, stove top, daily.

- Clean appliances? Fridge, when I have to do grocery shopping.

PrairieMom replied: unless something major happens, house cleaning day is once a week. usually thursday or friday, depending on what season it is. All the bedding gets washed then too.

same here, except I do mine on Saturday and Sunday since the rest of the week I work full time. I do try to do a load or two of laundry during the week.

- Clean appliances? wipe fridge/ stove as needed... usually once a week. clean out fridge of food.. once a week before groceries

With that said, I have let things slip more lately as I have been busy with work and it's been hard to get to everything.

- Clean the toilet? I aim for a quick clean daily so that it never really gets dirty, but I'm not usually that good....more like every other day

- Clean the shower/tub? a little bit every day when I'm in there

- Change the sheets? This I'm REALLY bad about...once a month or so.

- Sweep/vacuum the floors? Sweep every other day, vacuum usually twice a week.

- Wipe the benches? Minimum of once a day, usually more

- Clean the sink(s)? Minimum of once a day, usually more

- Clean appliances? the outside of them, I clean as needed.. inside oncea month or so for the stove, and when necessary in the fridge
