How much would you pay?

I guess I am lucky. I use my teen to the tune of 7.50 an hour for all THREE of my little ones or a close and very trusted friend who is free!

By reading the other posts, babysitting has a) either gone up, or  is more expensive in the states.
ediep replied: my sister babysits for a few families sometimes and she charges $10 per hour...but I'm lucky, she babysits Jason for free!!!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Nobody asks over $5 an hour here.  We have never gotten a babysitter, but I don't know anyone that pays more than that and the ones we have called to check on charge $5. I would just give her $30 at the end of the night. Really I think she wouldn't expect more than that.
3_call_me_mama replied: I'd love to watch your kids if you all pay $10 an hour. Here it's about $5 if that. Highschool kids are less but adults are $5, $8 tops! and that's liek an overnight all day thing:)
