How much was your last power bill?

Mine was $327 last month. Jenn & I live in the same overpriced utility town. It's awful. Average is $275 for us. Its awful.

5littleladies replied: Ours is usually 160 a month, but we have it averaged out-Otherwise it would be relatively cheap in the summer and really expensive in the winter.

3_call_me_mama replied: Ours was $87 last monthbut from march -june it generally runs about $50-$60 a month... in the winter it's more like $120 a month....and i thought that was high!!! I can't imagine having to pay some of your bills!!!

jen replied: Ours was 127 which is just fine with me! We live in Texas and it is so HOT But this house was built to be energy efficient with the windows etc. :-) Makes things cheaper! Our last was 200 plus a month. :-(

nope. It's city owned. That's one reason I'm sort of looking forward to moving down south where you have a choice in utilities. LOL

MomToMany replied: Last month ours was about $175. This month it is $153. But that's the house, DH's shop/garage, and FIL's camper (really wish he wasn't here).

Kaitlin'smom replied: I have buget billing so I pay 140 a month then in Aug the even out with us, we usually have a very small bill that month, I like this option that way I know what it will be everymonth

mummy2girls replied: I live ina small apartment so my bills in the summer for power is 35 bucks. and in winter 50 bucks... I would die if i had to pay what you all are!

coasterqueen replied: Ours varies a lot but is most times $175 or so. We have it on a level plan though so we pay like $120 every month all year around even if some months is only $100. And whatever is left to pay at the end of the year we have to pay in one lump sum.

But we also have to pay propane which is about $400 a month. But luckily that's usually only October through March.

Us too. Dh tries to pay extra every month to try and keep that last payment down though.

A&A'smommy replied: Ours was between 60 and 69 dollars a month in our two story apartment don't know about the trailor yet I'm VERY worried it took a LONG time to get this place cooled off thats to be expected when its over a hundred degrees in the afternoon!
