How much do you pay for pre school - a semester????

amynicole21 replied: Do you mean pre-k or pre school? Sophia's in preschool (Florida pre-k starts at 4yo). We pay about $110/week for the 3yo program. If she was in pre-k it would be around $85/week.

Jamison'smama replied: Are you talking about all day school or just a preschool program. Jamison is in one now--85 a month, 2 days a week, 2.5 hours a day. The one she'll attend in Texas is 2 days a week 5 hours a day and 170 a month.

Yup. VPK in Florida (voluntary pre-k) is government subsidized so it's cheaper most of the time. It's also offered in the public school system, so you could be sending her to the elementary school instead of a private daycare/pre-school situation.

MamaJAM replied: The part-time nursery school we had our 2 older girls in was $280 for the year (paid monthly Sept-May) -- that was 2 mornings per week.

The full-time Pre-K that DD#3 did (and the boys will do) is $5,000 per year -- that's for M-F 8:30am-2:00pm includes lunch and snacks.

b&bsmom replied: Bryce is in the 3's at the Y two days a week from 9 - 11:30. He also gets a swim lesson included in tutuion once a week. We pay $110 a month. After seeing some of the other posts I feel very lucky!

PrairieMom replied: Right now The Boy is in a pre-pre school program for 2 year olds and it is $35.00 a month for 3 1/2 hours once a week. (we go on fridays)
Next year he will get 2 3 1/2 hour days for $80.00 a month. That includes all supplies, and treats and everything.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Next year Ethan will go twice a week for 5 hrs/day and we will pay $215 a month

3_call_me_mama replied: Cameron goes 2 times a week for 2 1/2 hours and we pay $8 a day. SO it depends on how many Tuesdays and Thursdays there are in teh month. Ususlly about $56 or so a month. It's a private one and christian based. The one in teh schools here are $25 a week and its 4 days 2 1/2 hours each day

Crystalina replied: Izabella USED to go to one here that cost $160 a month for 2 hrs a day and 3 days a week. She was there for about 6 months when I realized all they did was play, read stories and sing. I could do that at home.

The one she goes to now is private and costs $60 a month for 2 hrs/2 days a week. She has learned to write her name all her letters and she's learning her phone # and address now. So much cheaper and she's learning so much more.
