I never went before so I figured ok I will give it a try and I said what time are we leaving she said 6:30am LOL

Kaitlin'smom replied: BTDT never again. I hated it. I do look at the ads and if there is something I mush have will go out but I usually stay home

Boys r us replied: I usually do, but not this year..wanna know WHY? BECAUSE I'M DONE CHRISTMAS SHOPPING

MomToMany replied: I did once, and never again!!!

I haven't done any Christmas shopping, and Ethan's birthday is a week from Thursday. I haven't got his presents yet either. YIKES!!!

3xsthefun replied: I haven't decided if I want to yet or not. I'm not sure if I will feel like fighting through the crowds. wacko.gif I may just wait and go shopping on Saturday.

I have never been before though.

jdkjd replied: The Day after Thanksgiving and the Day after Christmas are great shopping if you can get there when the doors open. Never had to deal with crowds too much and I always spend gift certificates at the after christmas sales. But it only takes me about an hour to get in and out of the mall. happy.gif

TANNER'S MOM replied: My husband and I always get a babysitter and go. It's a yearly date. W/ 4 kids we take every sale we can get.

But always get a sitter b/c it's not worth dragging the kids thru the crowds.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: There is one thing I want this year at Wal Mart, but I don't know if I will fight the crowds. It is really something we need and It is very cheap. My parents will be here. I may take mom along with me and leave the kids with PaPaw. wink.gif

ediep replied: I would go but I wouldn't bring Jay. He doesn't really like the mall and it would be way too frustrating

coasterqueen replied: I just go for fun, not because I Christmas shop. I don't know why but I like going. tongue.gif

But I don't get to go this year because of partial bedrest. bawling.gif bawling.gif bawling.gif bawling.gif Ok now that depressed me. sad.gif

favre4fan replied: Arghh I hate crowds!! I think i will wait!! smile.gif

MomToJade&Jordan replied: I worked in KB Toy Store in college on Black Friday once, and vowed that I would never put myself through that. I like to shop, but I just don't care for the madness that takes over people on that day. I may run over to the BX later in the day after some of the insaneness dies down, but I won't get up before the sun does to deal with all of those people. I know people who actually have a game plan for that day. Is that not crazy?

jolene555 replied: It's like a tradition. When I was young we'd do it every year. My grandma, my mom, aunts, cousins, sisters - we'd all pile into the station wagon and head to the mall. 14 hours later all the kids would be whining, laying in the isles of JCPenney (sleeping or complaining of how their stomach hurt after those 4 blue raspberry slurpees) while the managers tried to explain to my granmother that they were closing and she really MUST stop shopping. Ah, memories.

Since I have no money this year I will not be doing any of my own shopping. Instead I have offered a deal to my grandma, who is now losing the stamina needed to handle the crowds and also needed at home to care for my grandpa. I told her that if she made a list of what she needs, and where to get it, I would do her Christmas shopping. For me, it's really just the thrill of the hunt.

gr33n3y3z replied: I see good things and bad things here I'm not a crowd person so this maybe interesting but I like ppl. watching but I hate shopping. what did I get myself into lol
I guess if I can 1 deal on something with out someone or me getting killed in the process I did good!!!

MomofJandB replied: I've never gotten up at the crack of dawn to go. I have gone later in the day to catch something on sale. I didn't think the crowds were too bad then. I wish I could go bright and early. I actually think it might be kinda fun! (or at least an experience everyone should have once in their life!) Maybe when my kids are older and I can leave them home!

Josie83 replied: What on God's earth is Black Friday? blink.gif xx

~Roo'sMama~ replied: I went to the Mall of America with my sister the day after Thanksgiving once... it was terrible but I'd like to go this year - just somewhere not so busy! wink.gif

5littleladies replied:
Lol! Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving when all the stores have tons of deals and people go out shopping in huge ,ridiculous mobs. It's fun if you don't mind the crowds and the maddness. happy.gif

We willn probably go out and get a few things that are too good to pass up, but nothing extensive this year. smile.gif

TeagansMom609 replied: NO WAY! I dont want to be at the mall when its nuts like that. Go thru all of that for what? 10% off? No thanks. I will wait. Plus I dont get my XMAS bonus until the 8th.

Josie83 replied: Thanks for filling me in Jen! Sounds like a lot of fun . . . not. I hate shopping at the best of times! It sounds like our Boxing Day sales, something I avoid like the plague! xx

A&A'smommy replied: LOL I hope ya'll had a great time!! I don't do that kind of shopping happy.gif

LovingmyBoriqua replied: this was my first yr going with my mother and aunt the traffic wasnt bad at all. But, we did get some good deals though. I went to walmart, target, dillards, trevors, and hobby lobby.
