How many of you wear dresses to a club? - A dance club
My2Beauties wrote: Let me explain...this weekend my girls and I want to go to this Club that is a little more dressy. My girlfriend has been and said some girls dress up in dresses and some don't, they wear cute jeans and a cute top. I never ever wear dresses out since I dance hard and I think if I do I won't wanna dance and have fun. But part of me wants to dress up just to dress up one time. WWYD?
moped replied: When I used to go to clubs it was jeans and a cool top and cool boots.....I would certainly wear a dress to a club, but when I went to clubs they weren't the really dressy ones.
I love clothes, so yes I would wear a dress.
You can still dance hard in a dress - you know it!
mckayleesmom replied: Nope....always jeans and a cute top.
momofone replied: Back in the day, i used to wear dresses all the time to clubs maybe try one that is a little longer so it has good coverage.
Mommy2Isabella replied: I have only been to a club ONCE and I wore jeans and a cute top!!
CantWait replied: Dresses, skirts, pants, whatever...just depended on where we were going and what I felt like wearing.
TheOaf66 replied: I did not
DVFlyer replied: Video or it didn't happen... (picturing Elaine from Seinfeld)
TheOaf66 replied: now you just put that image in my head
"Looks like a full body dry heave"
My2Beauties replied: Well it would have to be in P&I probably me and my friends like to get down to the booty shaking type of music
TheOaf66 replied: oh that is what you mean by "dance hard"
luvbug00 replied: If your going to a club that is your typical werehouse rooms for every style of music then i'd stick to jeans and top, crowded clubs and dresses do not mix! If your doing somthing a little more fancy then a dress is approprite. For example a place here (DC) a club like "FUR" you gotta rock the jeans, at "LIMA" you gotta dress nicer, like BEBE or more trendy stuff. Just depends. Have you looked at the club website to get ideas???
DVFlyer replied: I double dog dare you....
DVFlyer replied:
That's the one...
Hillbilly Housewife replied: if you dance like I do LeaAnn.. and I'm pretty sure you do.. i'd at LEAST wear shorts or leggings underneath. Ha!
Calimama replied: Haha not if you want to be able to move at all. Dark jeans, satin top, heels and you'll be dressy and able to dance.
My2Beauties replied: Then I'm sure I do. When I say we get down...uh we get down low LOL! I plan on wearing shorts underneath. I think I'm going to wear the dress. It is a more dressy place, I've looked at pics online at metromix (which is like our clubbing magazine LOL) and the majority of the girls there are dressed very nice mostly dresses or skirts. You do see some jeans, but I never wear dresses so I'm going to go all out since I didn't get to go out last weekend on Derby.
Mommy2BAK replied: I would normally wear jeans and a dressy top, but if I had nice legs I would totally wear a dress... but I don't dance, so I wouldn't really have to worry about showing anything.
DillsMommy replied: Would it be 'Hotel' that your talking about?
moped replied: Wouldn't shorts or leggings take away from the "sexiness" of it?
Teehee
My2Beauties replied: Yes it was club Hotel we didn't even end up going there though, we stayed at Saddle Ridge and Tengo Sed Cantina all night. Had a blast, wont' be wearing a dress out ever again though!
DillsMommy replied: I went to Hotel for the first time about a month ago. You didn't miss anything. IMO it's not anything special. My friend got us a VIP table and we ended up paying $125 for a small bottle of Malibu Rum, plus however much it was for the table, plus what you have to tip your 'waitress' Unless you have a ton of money to blow it's not worth it. AND, they take every kind of song from AC/DC to country and make it into a techno version. To say the least I did not have fun that night.
