How many kleenex can a girl go thru in one night?
Boys r us wrote: I rented the movie The Notebook last night. When I went to blockbuster to get it, I got up to the counter and there were two pretty macho looking guys up there working and they started asking me if I had a box of tissues at home. I said, "is it THAT sad?" and they both replied, "YES!!!" And so I thought Iw as being funny and I said,"Well, did it make YOU cry?" and they both answered with an embarrassed smirk,"Yes".
So I got home to watch it..I have to say, this is the best movie I have probably ever seen! Seriously, it is an absolutely beautiful story and so intense! But boy did I ever cry!
It's a MUST SEE!!!!!
coasterqueen replied: Ok, I'm going to have to see it but does that mean I'll need TWO boxes of kleenex since I'm pregnant and hormonal? Because I want to be sure to be prepared.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I read this book years ago. Nicholas Sparks is my favorite author. A bunch of my friends and I (and Scotty) went to see the movie in the theatre when Ethan was a baby. It is truly the saddest, sweetest movie I have ever seen in my life. They did a fantastic job on this movie. It was VERY much like the story in the book.
Kaitlin'smom replied: sounds good but something I will advoid. I dont like crying through movies, there are a lot of the lifetime movies I cant watch anymore since having Kaitlin to depressing and I cry alot so i just advoid them now
Maddie&EthansMom replied: This is definetly a cry movie. It is one of those movies where you 'cry out loud' you are crying so hard.
akbutterfly83 replied: i was wondering about that movie... I was gunna have dh rent it, but then I didn't cause I haven't heard if it was good or not...
So I guess I'm gunna have to go watch it.....
A&A'smommy replied: well I guess I should have bought it last night then lol I almost bought it but then I didn't
Kaitlin'smom replied: then I think Iw ill have to skip it, I just cant handle things like that right now
cdefmomma replied: you guys really liked it? I bought it w/o watching it and now regret it. I thought it was boring and a little rediculous. Maybe I should watch it again because I obviously missed something. are we talking about the movie w/ Brittney Murphy? I am shocked to see so many people liked it.
cdefmomma replied: OKAY I AM A RETARDED!!! You said Notebook NOT Little Blackbook. Nevermind. I am sorry for not reading correctly. I have never seen Notebook. What is it about? Is it good? LOL!!! J/K
MomofJandB replied: DH is gone for 2 nights...sounds like a great chick flick for me to curl up with!!! (if it's not an action flick, he won't watch it!) Thanks for sharing!!!!
loveydad replied: LMAO. I'm not watching this movie but I don't have a problem expressing the fact that I cry.
LIke when I get kicked between the legs by a child trying to climb into my lap, or, say, I'm asked to clean out the fridge. Yes. I cry. LMAO (i'm kidding. I never cry.)
Boys r us replied: It is a movie that you cry with, but it's not a bad cry..it's mostly just really happy cries..I think even the BIG cry at the end is a peaceful..things finally came full circle cry! It didn't leave me feeling bad or depressed, it left me feeling sort of complete and satisfied!
Allyson&Patrick'sMom replied: Have your read the Book???? See if you can through the tears. It is an EXCELLENT book!
The Wedding is a kind of Sequel to The Notebook......the Characters from the Notebook are the main Charachters in the Weddings In-Laws, another GREAT BOOK!
coasterqueen replied: Nichole,
I rented the movie last night with my tissues in hand. Oh I cried buckets. It was a great movie. I'm not sure if I walked away depressed or not..I didn't finish it til 12:30 am and I was so tired but I was determined to watch it.
I think the discussion Dh and I had about the movie and growing old together left me pretty depressed just because welll......sigh. The movie was great!!!!!
Boys r us replied: Aww..I know Karen, it does leave you with lots to think about..things you don't necessarily WANT to think about..but I'm glad that you liked it! What did Ryan think of it?
coasterqueen replied: He didn't watch it. Actually I figured he wouldn't like it so I watched it while he was doing something else. I told him about it the other day and while he said he wouldn't been able to stand all the mushy mushy he thinks he might have enjoyed it.
Cary Lynn replied: I watched it last night and I sooo love this movie. I read the book and I think it matched up pretty well!
