How many babies/kids have too many toys?

MommyToAshley wrote: Ashley already has way tooo many toys...LOL. They are everywhere! Her favorite thing to do now is to give you the toy if you hold out your hand and ask for it. She jsut giggles when you say "Thank You". OF course, she expects it back within a few seconds though. rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif

My favorite thing she does is she has this ball that lights up and plays music when you bump it or roll it. She will hit it and then "shake her booty" to the music. LOL rolling_smile.gif

I can just see her doing that! And I bet you have it on tape! How cute!

PS love the new avitar MTA

oh and to answer your question yep to many here, we will need a bigger house soon if this keeps up!

amynicole21 replied: The more toys we buy for Sophia, the more she likes playing with the dog's bone, the security stick for the sliding door, the hanging blinds, etc. We have so many toys for her that she won't look twice at. Of course, the dog would LOVE to get his paws on them!! *SIGH* When will we learn???

jdkjd replied: Bailey's absolute favorite are the vertical blinds...

MommyToAshley replied: LOL! Cute picture! She is havin' a ball... and she is always adorable!

Heather replied: Alison has a lot of toys too, but we are really cutting back because half the time she plays with everything else but her toys. Most of the time she is playing with her books or chasing the cats around. However, she loves it when I put all her toys in the toy box...she goes right over and makes a game out of pulling them all out again.

The shaking the booty thing is so cute!!! I love to watch little babies dance..it is the cutest thing!!!

supermom replied: Nods - I am glad we didn't go and BUY everything he's got, though. I went out to our garage, and I went thru a LOT of the toys I had "left over" from when I ran a daycare......there were a LOT of toys in good shape, in fact in excellent shape....so I hauled them in, washed them and let him go at it. Of course, now he's outgrowing a lot of them so I've got a big storage bin (the big covered kind you get a wal-mart) in the garage waiting for the new one.....

If anyone asks what I need for this new babe, I am gonna say $$$$$$ - J/K - lol

Kirstenmumof3 replied: rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif Oh that would be all 3 of mine! When I registered for my baby shower I did not register for any toys! Because I still had all the baby toys from the first 2! So now she has a HUGE rubbermaid container full of bigger baby toys and a little rubbermaid container full of rattles and teethers! Will it ever end! I am constantly stepping on Barbies, hotwheels cars and now baby toys! AHHHHHHHHHHHH! wacko.gif wacko.gif

MommyToAshley replied:
LOL!

I was just telling Ashley that I wished I had kept my babies from when I was a kid. It would be sooo neat if I still had them and could pass them down to her. My MIL did give her a few toys that DH used to play with as a baby... a telephone and a turle. hehe.

victoire2002 replied: GUILTY! I am an E Bay fanatic, and have bought WAAAYYYY too many toys for Aidan. His current fave is a FP Activity table that I bought for $7.00!

mckayleesmom replied: Im the opposite, I have to buy some more toys,, I didn't have a baby shower cause we live so far away from family, but she has a couple dolls and rattles, she loves the duck mobile above her swing, but not the precious moments one above her bed. But I have to get her some more, shes starting to get bored. Overall her favorite thing to look at and talk to is a shelf on the wall, she thinks that its hillarious, she just smiles and talks to it,,its funny.

~CrazieMama~ replied: Brianna's favorite toys are purses, keys, food, clothes, dog toys. Nothing that is hers. She loves her brothers' toys. But she seems to like things that she is not allowed to have.

Mommieto2Girls replied: Madisons favs are paper of any kind, so she can make chewing gum out of it, empty 20oz soda bottles, and bigger bottles . All her toys are just so boring I guess cause she doesn't like to play with them anymore. I think I have bought only one toy in the last 5 months for her. Even that one she doesn't play with anymore. I took most of them from her to see if she will like them when they return but we will see.

~CrazieMama~ replied: I bet if you put nips on them, Maddie might play with them....lol j/k thought that was funny.....lol emlaugh.gif rolling_smile.gif

supermom replied:

And that too - he loves to go into his 18 yo brother's room and get into all his stuff!!

Mommieto2Girls replied:
hahahahahahahaha, so funny, Poor Maddie don't know no better. lol laugh.gif
