1lilpeanut2love replied: I'm not sure, but everyone is different. I went off the pill in about April 2004 and I got pregnant about July 2004. It may take certain people longer than others to get pregnant.

Kated replied: I am ending my last pack of pills in two weeks. My doctor wants me to wait and get my period off the pill to start keeping my little chart.

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: My sister tried for 3 years before getting pregnant and I did the first month we tried. I think somewhere arround 6 months is pretty common

I quit the pill and waited 6 months to TTC my second, and I got her on the second month.

I have had lots of problems with my stuff. Its been hell. The only main reason I was on the pill was to help me. My doc just wants me to finish get my period and then begin my chart. I am on the vitamins he gave me and he would like me to take them at least 2 months before we start. Hes a really good doctor. I swore Id never go to a man but after I was reffered to him Ive gone to him ever since.

I'm not really sure as I feel pregnant with my first while I was on the pill and this is our first month trying.
I think age and general health has a lot to do with it. There's a 33% chance that you'll concieve each month if you're trying.
Most people concieve within 3-6 months I think..... or so statistics say.

You should fisish your pack of pills because it can cause irregular bleeding and irregular cycles for some people very important for ppl to finish them.

Kated replied: I want to wait till Aug to start trying. My hubby wants to start right away. I have a 3 year old horse I broke to saddle and I do want to take to a show in the next month or 2. My doctor said I could still ride for a little while but I want to be carefull You never know when something can happen.

FWIW, my doc wouldn't let me ride at all with my first pg, the twins, but with the second one I rode until about 5 months, just couldn't do anything "fun" like loping or barrel racing. But everyone around was still paranoid about what if I got kicked or fell off. Looking back, I'm glad nothing happened but wish I hadn't even chanced it.
