How do I dispose of this???

punkeemunkee'smom replied: IDK~ When I did major overhaul cleaning I tried to dispose of a bible that is very old and all torn up in one book and when I tried to throw it out Bill and my best friend both looked at me like I had grown three heads! I would probably bury it-I am not sure about burning it either Honestly though I think that God knows you aren't doing something disrespectful

I might feel a little bit funny about it, because it's the BIBLE and people used to think it was awful to even just set it on the floor. I googled it to see what others had to say about it and someone said exactly what I was thinking - that it's the message that's sacred, not the book itself. If it can't be used anymore then throw it out.

Maybe call your local church and see what they do with their bibles that become worn. I am sure that they have it happen often enough.
