How did you find this place?

Kaitlin'smom replied: the adminds recruted me. they created this site after having there beautiful daughter and then I was PG and they thoguth it woudl be a great place for us to have support and help each other. I am comming up on 3 years 
mom21kid2dogs replied: I did I Villiage when I was pregnant but never really felt part of the group in my EC. After they changed their format, I went to a larger board that was hosted by a magazine. Though entertaining, it was not for me. I saw a reference to this board about a year later, liked it and stayed.
moped replied: Well I joined when Jack was about 5 months old because I was looking for someone to tell me if it was wierd that I still swaddled Jack at that age - and well.....we did so until he was 11 months old!!!

booey2 replied: Well I too was an IVillager and when they changed their format a bunch of us moved over to another site. It is still up and running and I still visit it everyday but don't post much. Anyway one day I think Rod was over there and posted a link to this site and I had a look at it and lurked for a while then jumped in with both feet and am sure glad I did. I like this place way better than anyother board I have been on. 
C&K*s Mommie replied: sadly, I do not remember how I came across this board. I had been using another parents message board for a little while, when their website was down one day. I think I googled parents msg boards, and came across this. But I am not sure!

That's funny! That's what happened to me! I was on Parents.com, and then their boards went down for a week. So I went searching for pareting forums, and found you guys!
I like P.C. 100% better than the other websites!
The other parent forums I tried weren't as personable as P.C. is. They have like 50,000 members...and you can never get to know anyone.
I love P.C. because it's a small "community". And I feel like I have gotten to know you all really well in such a short period of time. Where as the other websites, nobody even knows you exsist!
So I"m not leaving this place! I just love you guys!

Freckled Momma replied: I had been frequenting parents.com too...didn't ever post much, too much drama going on and so many people...it was all very cliquish on most of it. I never felt all that welcome there.
So I googled parents boards and found PC. And here I am!
I've just joined, but so far I love it and you all have been so nice and welcoming.

THis was teh first site that came up on the google search for "Parenting message board" and I like it here so I stayed

I joined my first parenting/pregnancy board while preg with my older son in 2002....I really enjoyed being able to get answers/advice/etc from different people's point of views. For various reasons I left the board I had loved...and found this place while looking for a new 'home'.
