How did he propose?

Aron took Jenna trick or treating as we waited at the house. Aron dropped her off and marcus took the candy bag and Jenna to the living room. I was talkign with aron and getting child support off of him. I went into the living rooma nd took the bag and dumped it out on teh floor. I started serching through the bag and marcus was hovering. I told him to sit down because he is freaking em out just standing there. so he sat on teh couch. 10 minutes later I look down and see a ring box. I picked it upa nd said whats this. I look up and he takes the box gets on his knee and proposed...

luvmykids replied: He didn't do anything super romantic, he'd been gone rodeoing for about a month and when he got back I was really sick with a kidney infection and didn't want him to come over. He did anyway, and I was totally annoyed He kept hovering and telling me to get up and brush my teeth, I was about to strangle him because I just wanted to be left alone. Finally I did get up and brush my teeth and when I came out of the bathroom he was shaking like a leaf I asked him what was wrong and he started talking about how he'd never met anyone like me and the life we could have together and finally asked if I'd marry him.

He wanted me to brush my teeth so we could kiss after I said yes

DillsMommy replied: We spent the day together, even though I forget exactly where we went but all day he was calling me different nicknames-- little stinker, dander jeans. And it was really getting on my nerves. I kept telling him to stop unless he comes up with a name I like. So when we got home he said-- I've thought of something to call you, of course I rolled m eyes and said what? He pulled out the ring and said "my wife"

lovemy2 replied: I had just come home from school - it was like 8:30 at nite - I was sitting on the couch eating spaghetti - he got up and left the room and then came back - the dog came running in the room with something shiny around her neck - he had put it on a ribbon around her neck - I had to chase the dog down to get it from her - she was freaking out cause I was yelling and screaming and that just made her run around more - after I got it off her neck he got down on one knee and proposed

We I believe had just finish DTD. And he apparently got the ring in his hand. Its pitch black in the room so I couldnt see much. He put the ring on my finger and asked me. And I said yes and then turned on all the lights cause I wanted to see the ring. Yes I know weired.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: My FIL took me shopping for DH's birthday...Which later I found out it was because DH was getting our apartment ready with roses and a nice dinner. I came back a little early and the door was locked! So I had to call his cell phone to let me in. He was a little frazzled, so I knew something was up. The rose petals all over the apartment gave it away too. But it wasn't until after a nice homemade meal, that he took the ring out and got down on his knee. He had actually MADE a little shelf under our dining room table out of tape and cardboard, to hide the ring box! It was so cute!

HuskerMom replied: We had spent the day in Lincoln not really doing anything. Come to find out later that he was looking for a good spot to propose. So on the way home we took country roads and he pulled over next to a river. I was so confused when he told me to get out of the car. We walked down this hill and all of a sudden he turns around and gets on one knee and proposes.

amymom replied: Well, first just after we had started dating he had called my office and my secretary, comes in and says Who was that? I tell her.. oh some guy I jsut began dating his name is Lee. She says "oh... you will marry him. I know things like this!". Later that night, I told him the story and then a few minutes later I said, so... should we? That is when we decided we would get married. I said you will have to ask me properly some time.
That was in June. We had met in May. So (since I like to manage things so well!) we had decided we would get engaged the night before Thanksgiving. But he decided on Tuesday to give me a gift. He hands me a wrapped package, the size of a shirt box and he says... something to keep your hand warm. I (not thinking about the next night at all ) open it and it is an ice scraper with a mitt on it. Sweet, I am thinking ... he should scrape my windows why do I need this? He says.. try it on, and so I do and the ring box is inside!!! Then he got down on one knee etc.... Of course I said yes And now it is 23 years later!! wow!

I couldn't understand why he wouldn't just grab the diaper himself. He said the baby is fussy, well she hadn't been fussy for hours so I thought he was just trying to irritate me. I told him he can grab it, he said "It's easier for you to do it." I just rolled my eyes at him and got the diaper out of the box, just under the diaper was a ringbox. I grabbed it and looked at him and he came up to me and hugged me carrying our daughter and asked if I would be his wife. I said yes, kissed him and we squished Kyla with the hugging until she started squirming.

DH has always done kind of off the wall things. One day he asked me to clean out his lunchbox, of course I look at him and tell him he can do it himself ( I was cooking dinner). He asks again and so I go off in a huff and grab it and open it and there is a single red rose and a card, just because.

Troy and I got into a big fight one night. I left for work (at Walmart) all mad at him. Next thing I know as I'm cashiering, he comes through my line. All mad I ask him what he wants, then he opens this box with a ring and proposes to me. Yep...in line at Walmart. That's my super duper romantic proposal story for you. He's lucky he writes me really nice poetry to make up for it.

in my defense the fight was about me going shopping with a friend of hers w/o her...I was going ring shopping and I couldn't explain why she couldn't go and why I was going with her friend

mom2my2cuties replied: Well the first time i got married he proposed by email of all things....Can you imagine the shock?

The second time, we had just had a HUGE fight because his ex wouldn't leave us alone and he wasn't doing anything to stop her and I was in tears and just wanted to go to bed, so I'm laying there facing away from him, and the last thing I want is anything to do with him. He comes in the room, sits down on the bed behind me and says I was going to wait for a better time to do this, and I said what? (Thinking he was going to say he was leaving) And he asks me to turn over and look at him. So I turn over but stare at the celing, He takes my hand and puts the ring on my finger, and asks me to marry him. Needless to say, he got forgiven pretty quick.

A&A'smommy replied: Well we had been planning on getting married since the beginning of our relationship and about a month or so before valentines day we started talking about when were going to get engaged and all that jazz. We looked at rings together and he gave me a choice of 3 beautiful rings and said pick your fav and I did. He ordered it and I knew he did and I knew he was planning on purposing on valentines day.. well vday came and we and then it was almost gone and he hadn't purposed yet and I was getting ill so I went to my room and played on the computer and then he came back there about 45minutes later and said come on were going out SO I followed him and I was still kinda ill so we rode down to the river (the same place my parents got engaged but he didn't know that at the time) and he pulled the ring out of his console and asked me to be his wife I started shaking and cried. We left because I couldn't wait to tell my best friend, we went to her house and showed her and her momma and we all 3 jumped up and down and cried then we left and my best friend met her husband for the first time, we drank a little moonshine went home and made a baby (oh yeah when he was in the lr with my parents he was asking my dad if he could marry me ) then about 3 1/2 months later we got married
