How about those kids?
kit_kats_mom wrote: We tried to stay pretty low-tech, battery free this year. We did pretty good. A lot of the stuff we got them is stuff I used to love.
Both: A double easel from santa with chalk, dri erase markers, paints, colored pencils and markers and 4 extra rolls of paper. This is the biggest hit. They've been "Doing art" all day.
Katherine- a fur real pet lamb, a stuffed owl (thanks Ed!), legos, colorforms, a pot holder making thing, some books, a set of horses, a tennis racket and balls, a digital camera, $47 cash, a lite brite (which I've been enjoying) some junk from the FIL (who gives a 3 & 5 year old ugly christmas candle holders and coffee cups??? especially ones with the .29-.59 cent price tags still on the bottom??? ) , and stocking stuffers.
Lauren-a fur real pet pig, a baby born, a fur berry, play dough, books, $47 cash, the same junk that K got from FIL, a cash register, a learning clock, blow up boxing gloves for her and sis to fight with, counting cookies and some stocking stuffers.

jcc64 replied: It was a high tech Christmas for us this year. The boys got a flat panel tv, which we put in the basement that I just refinished for them. Now they have their own dedicated space, far away from us- which was pretty much the best present we ALL could have gotten! They got a Wii from my in-laws and Guitar Hero II for PS 3.
Corey got a pink leapster, the High School Musical game for the Wii, which she LOVES, a Hannah Montana doll, the outrageous Bratz party bus, complete with hot tub and smoothie bar, and from Grandma she got tix to see "The Little Mermaid" on Broadway (which I am personally very excited about).
MommyToAshley replied: Ashley got way too much....
From Santa: -- FP Digital Arts Studio and some extra cartridges for it -- Fur Real pets (parrot and dog) -- DDR mat -- Troy and Gabriella from HS Musical -- A couple of DVD games (Disney Bingo, Disney Scene It, and Hanna Montana) -- Guess Who Board game (Dh likes playing this one) -- I Can Play Piano (hooks up to TV and teaches to play the piano, similar to Guitar Hero but geared for younger kids) -- Some smaller stuff -- puzzle, loop'n loom (makes pot holders), make your own purse craft set.
To Ashley AND Daddy, from Santa: -- Robotic Rover: You can build 10 different rovers with it, and it has snap together circuits so Ashley can help Daddy to build it. It's actually pretty neat. They've already built one rover. It's remote controlled, and Ashley's actually pretty good at controlling it.
Stocking: -- HS Musical soundtrack, Candy, reindeer Webkinz, webkinz charm and mousepad, mini jr. rubix cube
From us: -- HS Musical and Smarty pants game for Wii -- Personalized Dora Book
She got a ton of stuff from my grandma, counsins, etc. -- too much to list. But, among her favorites are a tea party set which she can paint herself and a 3-D glow in the dark board (made by crayola, I think they called it Exposion board or somethign liek that)
MommyToAshley replied: I bet they will enjoy it for a long time. I got Ashley a two sided easel for her birthday a few years ago and she still uses it all the time. In fact, she was painting with it yesterday. She has Christmas presents that she still hasn't opened the boxes but she wanted to paint yesterday. The easle is probably one of the best investments we ever made too.
