Houston!!! WE SAW A BABY!!!!!

We got to see our lil bean sprout!!!!!! He/she was even waving it's little buds up and down constantly .

I think even our doctor was suprised. She looked a little hesitant when we went in there. She got me ready for the ultrasound and screamed "I SEE A BABY". I was like "where, where, I don't see it yet". I think she about cried, lol. Then there was our baby on the screen waving it's little buds frantically and it's little heart beating so fast. OMG! I'm so excited. The doctor frantically said "the progesterone is WORKING!!!!""Don't you dare stop taking it". Uhhhhh, do you think she was a bit nervous too after our appointment last week?

I'm measuring one day later than we first projected so it's 4/14/05 instead of 4/13/05 so that's awesome we were right there on the calculation.

I can start increasing my activity from zilch to a bit more each week if I stop spotting for more than 7 days but if I have any spotting I have to go back to doing zilch again. DH said "so she can start vacuming again?" What a turkey!

I have to go back in 2 more weeks for another transv u/s to make sure baby is growing well and she said she'd determine from there whether we need to keep monitoring baby this closely. So I get to see my baby wave at us again in 2 weeks.

Dh, of course, asked if she could tell any "body parts". She was like "uhhhhh no, just waving buds sir". What a dufus!

Thank you all so much for your support and prayers. It means a lot to us. I am still being a bit cautious, I know the paranoid person I am, so I'm still going to pray like crazy til I know this baby continues to grow.

Actually I've been letting him do EVERYTHING. The yard looks like an amazon it needs mowed so badly. The house is disgusting. I finally convinced him to clean the toilets yesterday because I told him if he didn't something was gonna reach out and grab his tush the next time he went to the bathroom. They needed cleaning, lol.

He feels so overwhelmed it's actually kind of funny. I told him he could resolve this whole issue if he'd let me hire the cleaning lady back but he's being stubborn and cheap. He said he'll hire her back when this baby arrives.

Take it easy, and continue to let DH do everything. And, be sure to have your OB tell your DH that after the baby is born that you can't do anything for the next 12 months or so... think he'd fall for it?

I have been thinking about you and when some women got to togather to pray, I prayed for you and the ultrasound, that everything would go well and you would see the baby! I am so happy for you. I remember the excitement of last week when I saw the buds move and I thought wow! this is a real baby and he/she is alive growing inside me. what a wonderful feeling!!! love dee ,you and I are going to have a ultrasound about the same time. I have a ultrasound a week from this coming tuesday to moniter the growth to, so we can be ultrasound buddies!!!!!

Congratulations and take it easy--who cares about the house when you have such a wonderful thing to celebrate--and I think it's great that DH can see just how much you do around home--I always wonder if my DH realizes how many little things have to be done to keep the house moderately okay.
