Holy cow! - I messed up :(

Edited to add that Dh wasn't mad but he'll still kill me if the stain doesn't come out completely!

The carpet sample didn't look that white. It was way whiter when we rolled it out! I have faith that the stain will come out. It looks better now.

Yeah it did. I went over it with the carpet cleaner thing a couple more times so now it just looks wet.

I'd totally understand if he was mad. We're trying to keep it perfect to sell the house soon. And as much stress as he's been under the last few months I don't want to add one more thing for him to be stressed about. Maybe mad wasn't the right word.
