Hobbies?

I would like to get into photography when I have more time. I'd like to take a class or two on how to take better photos, how to use lighting, etc. Right now I just point and click...LOL.

MomToJade&Jordan replied: You know I don't think I really have a hobbie I am sort of into scrapbooking. I have been wanting to learn how to use a sewing machine actually. I was thinking about taking a class for that. I would also like to learn how to croshe (sp?). My grandmother used to make all sorts of stuff and I would just love to know how to do that.

My2Beauties replied: I like to dance.. I wish I would have done it professionally! I am really into martial arts, I would love to take a tae-kwon-do class, that way when all of our DH or DF act up...I can come kick their booties! LOL!

My biggest hobby used to be fill-it-in puzzles. But don't have time for them anymore.

I love to dance and am addicted to the internet and LOVE to watch baseball. Other than that I'm a pretty sore excuse for a human, lol.

DansMom replied: I have been an enthusiast for New York Times crossword puzzles from the age of 16 or 17 on through my pregnancy at age 38. Since Daniel was born, I've done 2 NYT crossword puzzles only---it was one of the first things to fall by the wayside that I really loved doing. One thing I've always planned on doing is to make my own puzzles at that level of difficulty and then find out how one goes about getting them published. I would need to do some research to find out how people make the puzzles and how they break into the business, but for me this would be a most fulfilling way to supplement my income and keep my mind active when I retire.

If I had more free time I would learn to garden and landscape---and boy does my yard need some help.

alice&arik replied: I bought a guitar over a year ago and havn't learned how to play it. I can play jingle bells, and one other tune. But I would love to play like Michelle Branch. The problem is my hands are so small I can't reach the strings to make the chords right. I would love to take lessons, but don't have the time or money. Plus whenever I play it Arik likes to come over and beat on it.

ediep replied: I love scrapbooking and I used to be a runner before I got preg with Jay. Now, I try to walk/run with my jogging stroller when I can.

ctymom replied: I used to sketch alot but havent had many quiet time moments. And I love playing my drums (can you find the hidden video of me playing the drums? If so, I was only playing for a few months and self taught.. so it's not great )... but those are put away right now. Would love to play in a band one day.

Also love web design and graphics.

I want to act, I miss dancing I was the best in my class (a little proud of myself there) but I worked REALLY hard to get there. I would also like to get into photography Jeremiah is going to get me an 8megapixel camera someday (were saving up for fun stuff) and then maybe I can.

Hopefully I'll be taking some classes this fall. I take sooooooo many pictures anyway, I might as well get paid for it. Especially since it's something I love to do.

I also admit that I'm a shopaholic! I love to cook and find it to be very theraputic!

We have a community college in town that offers continuing ed classes in photography. I love sewing and scrapbooking, too. I also want to take cake decorating lessons. My mom is a professional cake decorator. I may have some hidden talent there!
