Hmmmmmm - Drs. Appt and Labor???

CantWait wrote: Well today I had my very last drs. appt. I gained a good 2 lbs and my fundal height is 39.5.
She did a pelvic on me and I'm 3cm dialated, 1-2 more then I was at the hospital the other day. She felt around a lot in there at my membranes and all that jazz. We had discussed induction if he doesn't come today, but after doing her check she said she doesn't see it happening. Baby is very low and just on the bag of water or something like that. She said that I would probably feel some cramping today, and that baby might even be here today. Definetly by the end of the week.

Well I'm at home now and I'm sorry but if this is cramping I'm not looking forward to labor and contractions. My back is in cahoots, and I'm starting to get a lot of stomach tightening. It's definetly a lot different then with my first son, his labor just happened all at once. DH thinks this is it. I'm hoping so. So if you guys don't hear from me for a couple days, you know what's going on.

contractions aren't staying very consistent....
they're anywhere from every 4-8 minutes apart....it's now 4:04pm mountain time??? ummmmm 6:04 eastern, and I've been like this since about 1:00pm my time.

My aunt had a friend that went for her last doctor appointment, and she ended up having the baby the same evening.

supermom replied: But, even though they are irregular, if they are not going away even though you are doing different things (walking, laying down, sitting, etc, etc) then it is possible you are in labor - we hope so - keep us posted some more if you get a chance.....
