His Staples are out!!!

Justin went with us to the appt. And when we got in the room, he looked at the medical chair and said, "Ochie Mama!" But once he saw his favorite nurse, he wanted to give her a big hug. The staples were pretty easy to remove, it just took a couple of min. He cried a little, cause we had to hold him down, but afterwards he was all smiles. And the nurse took him with her to get some stickers, he picked out a Spiderman sticker, and was happy. He gave her a big hug and waved bye-bye.

She said his head has healed well, and I'll be able to wash his hair tonight. I'm glad it's over with.

And she let me keep the staples. I'll put them in his baby book.

I would have kept them too for the baby book. I have sabrinas belly stump, etc.....

Edward's Mommy replied: Oh, that hurts! I had my staples removed from my C-section cut and it hurt worse than labor. It least it did to me! Hope he handled it better than I did! YEAH for Cam!

kimberley replied: i am glad he is healed up. but yuck on keeping the staples lol. kinda like moms who keep the umbilical stump... i am sentimental but not about that stuff.

The nurse actually asked me if I wanted to keep them, and I said sure. I'm glad I did, cause you know boys, later on he'll show his friends, "Hey Dude, check out the staples I had when I was 2!" And I kept his umbilical cord too. I guess I am weird.
