Hi, remember me? - I'm back (finally)

A nasty little (okay so 700 MB isn't so little) program devilishly coded by Roxio, bundled into a really valuable sounding package called Easy Media Creator 8, that insists upon installing it's permanent user MSI package into a temporary download folder, thereby guaranteeing an unstable UI was to blame.

What was I saying? Why did I bother buying it? Apparently Easy CD Creator 5.0 doesn't get along well with Win XP SP2. I should have just taken the patch, but I thought, "Wow, this seems like a real usable CD writer/management bundle." Silly me. Save your money; don't buy Roxio Easy Media Creator 8. I spoke with their support personnel who kept telling me that I didn't need multiple log on screens and that because I chose to use that Windlows XP option it was my fault I was out 100 bucks. Am I ranting again? Oh, yes, I am. Sorry.

Actually it was a busy weekend, but I don't have anything new to share. Same old drunks. Besides, I was on daywork all weekend which kind of insulates me from the really good drunks. In two weeks I hope to have some juicy drunk stories for you all.
