Hi, everyone - Pics inside.

Grammy showed me some of her new quilt projects. They are beautiful as always and in so many different stages of completion. It is kind of funny. Logan has become enamored of quilts, I had to watch him like a hawk. He was always picking up quilt blocks and walking off with them. He also liked Grammy's pincushion, I caught him sticking pins in his bunny once. He is too darn fast.
I am convinced that he is allergic to cats, he broke out something fierce after being there just two days. I suppose next time I'll have to start him on claritin before we leave. Oh well. Live and learn.

Logan on the quilt Grammy is making for the Linus project. That project provides blankets for children who are taken from meth homes, all their stuff has to be burned so the police carry hand made quilts for the children in their cars.

Logan and Lovebug, Grammy's cat. He was really good with her and she was wonderful with him. She usually is a bit nippy, but she did really well.

The view from the cabin porch. The water was like glass and the mountains reflected so well. I love this place.

This is very sweet of her to do this. It's such a great cause for such a sad thing. to her.

Her quilts are beautiful. Reminded me of going to my granny's. I'm so thankful to have a few of her quilts.

Logan has gotten so big! He's growing up so fast. He's adorable. I'm so glad you got a chance to go see your grammy. What a wonderful thing that she does for those kids. It gave me chills to read about it.
Her quilts look beautiful, too. I have one of my grandma's quilts. I protect it with everything I have, too.

I had never heard of the Linus project either, but I am glad to hear that your Grammy is a big part of it. I will have to see if they have one around here, too.

FWIW, the Linus Project isn't just for the Meth families, although I can see how that's where many of the quilts are going now. Lauren has one from when she was hospitalized with RSV early on. It's a lovely quilt and one of her favorites still.

That Linus Project sounds like such a wonderful program....there was a 3 year old little girl in the next town over from me whos parents had a meth lab in their home
