Hey y'all!! I'm back!

I'm having a hard time accepting this. It would have been the perfect work at home job. I spoke with her this morning. I was her first choice, but she went ahead and hired someone yesterday b/c she thought I wasn't interested. The only glimmer of hope that I have is that the other lady hasn't given her an answer. So, keep your fingers crossed that she doesn't take the job.

I've missed you guys so much. You would be so proud of me. My house is so clean and organized. It is amazing how much time you have on your hands without a computer!

I'm going to be pretty busy for the next week. I have been put (thrown) in charge of Thanksgiving dinner this year. Yes, I can cook, but I've never cooked a thanksgving dinner. That's my mother's job. I can't believe I'm at this stage of my life. Luckily Scotty is handy in the kitchen and he can help. We will have about 14 people here that day. 5 of those are children.

Thanks for asking about me. Thanks for updating them for me, Dana. I was really worried that you all might have thought something tragic happened. We've actually been REALLY GREAT lately. I've enjoyed myself and it seemed like I had so much time and had everything together.

We were all worried until Dana updated us. But, I have to admit, I was still a little worried. I am sorry you missed the job opportunity, but maybe it will still work out. I have my fingers crossed for you.

Congrats on getting your house clean. Maybe I need to disconnect our DSL and cable.

I have been nominated to do Thanksgiving dinner as well. There will be around 40 people... HELP! I've never cooked for that many people, plus I have no idea where they will all fit. If you come up with any good tips, please do share.

You asked that and I was thinking "Surely I mentioned my children!" I did not. That's kind of humorous, huh?

They are actually doing really well. Ethan hung onto his cold for a couple of weeks, but never had fever or anything. Just a runny nose.

Maddie is doing really well. Just getting smarter everyday. I'm so proud of her. Her teacher just ADORES her. It makes me all warm and fuzzy. I still go up there on Fridays to help out. I love it. It gives me a chance to get to know all the other kids and spend some quality time with Maddie. I can tell she looks forward to it, too. That made it sound like she lives there. At night we work on her vocabulary words, cook dinner, do bath and then it is time for bed. We don't have much time together anymore. She is just as beautiful and sweet as ever.

Ethan is talking so much now. He can pretty much repeat anything you say. It is so cute. His favorite cartoon is spongebob and he yells "spos bos" when he sees him. I didn't even know he knew who he was. I guess it came on in their playroom one day. Great job at monitoring TV programs mom! He is growing so much, too. He is getting more hair. And he loves going to the sitter on fridays. He gets really giddy and happy when we walk up to her door. He never fusses when I leave, but is always so happy to see me. It can't get better than that.

I had their picture taken yesterday for Christmas. I will try to post them, but they may be too small to see. If I get a chance I will scan them. They turned out okay....after the huge ordeal we went thru to get them.
