I noticed on the calendar that you are past 37 weeks so I thought you might have gone into labor, or that you and DH were trying to jump start it. So, how are you feeling? Any contractions yet?

Hillbilly Housewife replied: No contractions yet... unfortunately. I'd LOVE to go into labort now. I'd rather it be as far away to Christmas as possible!!!

we've been starting to try to get it going... except for the last couple days, both of us have been pretty sick. Well more so him than me...today was the worst for me, I have no voice. Try saying no to a child who can't hear you because you're all squawky!!!!

I did have an appointment on Tuesday though... and the doctor did a surprise Group B Strep swab. I was SOOO embarassed.... I hadn't had a chance to shower. I wasn't expecting it... lol usually he'll tell me if he's going down there... heh

But on the upsode, he did ask me if I wanted him to check my cervix while he was in there... so I said sure. It's still closed... with Zach, I was dilated to 2 at this point!!!!

Oh well... guess I gotta try to get DH to gimme some nookie... he's feeling much better today than I am, but I think I can handle it...

I've been having less leg pains though, which is good. They used to wake me up in the night, in tears it hurt so much.... my doctor even signed a temporary handicapped parking permit for me so that I don't have to walk too much...that's how much it hurt! But it hasn't botherded me really in like a week....

(readers beware, this is pretty graphic and gross)

I had the horrible runs today though. I dunno if that's due to me being sick, or if it's because I'm almost ready.... it was sooo embarassing this morning about 10 minutes after I woke up. I put on my housecoat (i sleep nekkid...it's too darn hot otherwise... ) and went downstairs. As soon as I get downstairs, the phone rings, so I answer... I was on the phone with the girl who is replacing me at work, answering some questions she had for me... and I had to fart. So I did, the kind of fart that is quiet, so that she wouldn't hear me.... when all of a sudden I feel this gush of liquid run down my leg and plop down on my foot... I was SURE my water had broken. No, it was a liquid fart. Ew. Talk about gross....

I took a quick shower after that one...

I am sorry you have been sick. I hope you are feeling better soon. And, DH too, so you can get some.

NOT! hope you enjoy your mat leave and get some R&R before baby comes. and don't worry about your cervix. with subsequent pg's it is normal to go from 0 to 10cm in a day so the dialation check is pointless. sending you tons of {{{{labor vibes}}}} so you don't have a christmas baby. it sucks getting a birthday/christmas present all in one

now go eat some pineapple and wake up DH! lol
