Hey Everyone! I have some pics to share. - Warning***One "Gooey" baby pic***

Izabella is a great help but sometimes too much of a help if you know what I mean.

Evan has been unusually bad and I know it's only because of the baby. He never acts like this. I've tried to involve him as much as possible and have tried to let him know he's the big boy and a big brother now. He's been up DH's behind trying to help put things together and just be with him. That's helped a lot. And I've tried to get more cuddle time in then usual with him.

Anyway, here are some pics for now. She was 9.04 and 21 inches long and when she was born she had a "true knot" in her cord and we were very, very lucky it did not interfere with her in any way. Dr. says it may have happened at the last minute because if not there is a good chance that she would not have made it to the induction date.

She is a very, very good and quiet baby! She never cries. I think there's just too much going on around here to keep her busy looking around.

Good luck to her on her biliruben test! Bobby had to have them daily for a week after he came home so I know what a PITA it is.

Thanks everyone. She is so pleasant it's totally unreal. She sleeps a lot and only cries if I make her wait (which isn't often. ).

Her Ped told me to keep her in the sunlight also but the problem is that we've had NO sunlight at all! We've had overcast skies since she's been home. She had a bili test yesterday and her # was 14 which is higher then the 11 she was when we came home. I have to go back tomorrow for yet another test. I'm not sure how high he's waiting for it to get. I could have brought the Wallaby blanket home and been using it all this time.

I hope the test is better tomorrow for you. Raygen had to have them done even though she was in ICU for 2 weeks. We still had to have them done when she came home just to be safe.

Swood75 replied: glad she is such a good baby..I am hoping I get lucky this time around too..Was lucky with kam and Kyleigh as far as being good baby's..As far ar the jaundace (sp?) Kam had it pretty bad too..I can't remember for sure but I am thinking his biliruben level was 13.5 or 14 and they gave us the Christmas tree lights (as DH called them...LOL) and it was a velcro thing that went around his chest and stomach and we had to keep it on him everyday for so long and take him to get his foot stuck everyday for almost a week..Hope Gabriella is rid of it soon..

Well, this morning we went for another bili test and her # was 10!!!! The cut off is 10.5 so she just made it. The ped said that whatever we're doing (which is nothing ) seems to be working and to continue. Basically it's going away on it's own and I can breastfeed 100% now.

And I was going to tell you that you can sit with her in front of an open window if it's overcast...the natural light still helps tremendously. I did that with Kade. When I fed him, I did it right in front of the window in his room. But it sounds like she is doing fine
