huggybugboy replied: Oh hes so beautiful!! I had a cesarian too and was on Vicodin. It wasnt working so well so they put me on darvocet. Its supposed to be safe with bf too and it worked a little better. Maybe it would work for you? The recovery is rough but you look amazing! And little Wil looks so happy to have his brother! mckayleesmom replied: Vicodin SUCKS!!!....it did NOTHING for me either Rae....Try percocet or darvoset, or toradol (sp?)....those are much better. Also...try to keep moving...the more you move...the easier it gets...Baby Wesley is gorgeous.

I don't know if you remember how jaundice Megan looked but Wes looks great compared to him. Keep BF and that will help it go away faster.

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling so well. I was given Vicodin after my first c-section and it did absolutely nothing for me either. With the last two I had Percocet and that was MUCH better.

We just got over battling jaundice as well... what were your little guys numbers? Brynne was 15. something.

BTW- ask for some Tylenol #3 or Tylox...should be safe to BF on & it works MUCH BETTER than vicodin, darvocet (I think those suck worse than the vicodin) and lortab (although this is better than the other two if you can get the tylox). I've had 3 csections, I much prefer the tylox.

You have an abosolutely gorgeous family!

I had a similar birth story with Colin, except we didn't know why Colin was starting to stress, I think he just wanted out after 15 hours of labor! I found the recovery to be VERY hard and was miserable while in the hospital, I felt helpless. I wanted to do so much for Colin, diapers and all, but was unable to even roll over for a day or two b/c of the pain.

Each day did get better though and only stayed in the hospital one additional day than expected with the C-section.

Enjoy every minute of this time...and be sure to update me on how Wil adjust to the baby at home. I'm very curious about that as well.
