Can work out the websites things
amynicole21 replied: Ovulation occurs in the very middle of your cycle. For example, if you are on a 28 day cycle, you ovulate on day 14. You are most fertile for up to five days before ovulation, and two days afterwards. I use the WebMD ovulation calendar which is super easy Web MD
Littlejojames replied: Thanks for that its the easiest one i have used so far.
Seems mines next week Craig will pleased to hear
jem0622 replied: www.fertilityfriend.com is a great place to track ovulation. You can track by taking your temperature every morning (do not get out of bed until you do) and charting it on FF. You can also check the consistency of your cervical mucous and chart it there too.
Another option is to use ovulation predictor tests. I used them and they did work for me. I started using them 8 days after my period started and once I got a positive test (meaning an LH surge was detected) then I knew it was show time! We bd'd every other day...and look at us...we are expecting twins. I guess we overdid it.
Another way to track ovulation is by looking at your saliva in a scope (they cost about $20 at the drugstore). Apparently, when you ovulate...you can see what is called 'ferning'. The scope comes with instructions on what to look for.
Littlejojames replied: God would love twins! They run in my family and Craigs (Fingers crossed)
Do you know what your having?
Guest_angelhair replied: I use clear plan fertility moniter and it has been wonderful! it breaks it into three bars, one for low fertility, one for high and one for peak. it detects the lh surge and gives you the two days of highest fertility by diplaying peak fertility wityh a egg in it. I know it is accurate because when I saw my fertility specialist and they tested my cm to see when I was going to ovulate it matched perfectly with what the moniter said. it also gives you days that you are fertile leading up to the big o by displaying high. after using it for a couple of months you will be able to detect a pattern yourself about which day you o. are your cylces irregular or long? the only con is it is expensive, you can probably get it on e bay, but it will cost 150.00 on e bay I think, sticks are extra. incid.com is another site and there is also a book called taking charge of your fertility that explains about charting, bbt ect.... if you can afford it the moniter is worth the money and I could send you some sticks to get you started, if not then the ovulation test sticks that they sell over the counter are good to. good luck! I know it took me 6 months and it can be discouraging month after month. by the way how long have you been trying? I only ask because if it has been a while or if you are over 35 have you connsidered seeing a specialist? sorry for this long post
Littlejojames replied: We have been trying since March, its been fun though
Were both still young (well im 24 in two weeks and he is 25, 26 at the end of the year)
Going to try WebMD ovulation calendar for a bit and see how that goes fingers crossed we go away next monday for 2 weeks so cant wait
Lets hope that the baby dust over there is stronger than here
coasterqueen replied: I like that ovulation planner Amy! Thanks!!!
Littlejojames replied: Fingers crossed that the ovulation planner works for me this month!
On my way home last night i bumped into a friend and she has found out she is 12 weeks pregnant. Now thats 2 of my friends,
coasterqueen replied: Ahh ((HUGS)). Hopefully soon it will be your time.
DH's and my problem is we can't seem to be in the same city at the same time to even ttc. At this rate it won't be til next month that we'll get to try again.
Littlejojames replied: Bet you miss him loads
Problem with us is were both working long hours to get enough security behind us incase we do manage to get blessed that were both too tired to even try
coasterqueen replied: Been there and still there. When we are in the same city we are both so exhausted we don't have any desire. I've also had a cold lately so DH doesn't want anything to do with me til its gone. I told him he needs to take one for the cause and just do it!
