Hello and a little update

I just wanted to let you all know that my dad/stepdad passed away early this morning from complications from his cancer. We were expecting it but it is still really hard, I am not in the city they are and will be heading home once the arrangements are made. We got to see him on Sunday and Monday when it looked the end was near and said goodbye then. The boys are taking it okay, they still don't understand why mommy and daddy are crying but I think they will get it more when they see all their cousins.

Sorry to bring you down with this sad update but I wanted my extended family here know, especially those of you not on facebook. My mom has asked me not post any thing there yet about this as she doesn't have any answers for her family as to the arrangements yet. So please, if you are on facebook, do not post to my wall.

kit_kats_mom replied: Sorry Terri. My mom passed in February from cancer as well. Most days are ok, but I do catch myself thinking "gotta call mom and tell her about this" then realize I can't and that's a downer. I'll be thinking of you and your family.

booey2 replied: Thank you everyone, we are home now after spending 3 days with my family. The boys are just as exhausted as us. Matthew is taking this pretty hard, Thomas I think is more upset that I am upset, he doesn't like to see me cry. Thomas slept for 13 hours last night, think he needed it.

We are heading out on vacation this coming Saturday and it couldn't be at a better time. I really need some time to unwind. I am just taking it day by day.
