I"m pretty new to this site too. Just started this month and as you can tell, I have a few posts already. I love it here. All the women are very supportive and it's a good place to go and chat.

I am a new Mommy. I loved being an auntie too! My sister has 3 boys, and I loved spoiling them...and then going home!

I didn't think I was ready to have children yet, even though I work with children everyday, that's my job. But 6 months after being married....SURPRISE! I was pg! And found out I was more ready than I had thought. Now my son is 20 months old, and it's the best!

But if you can plan it, that's the way to go! Have fun while your young and when the time is right, it'll be wonderful!

PhiMuMommy replied: i love being and aunt (i have 4 nephews and one neice) i'm also 21..lol.. see my issue is i was the aunt for so long i'm not sure how to be the mom sometimes.. i forget i'm the mommy and teach my son the aweful things i taught my sisters boys (like "so you like see food" and sticking a mouthful of food out on your tongue) then i remember and i'm like crap.. i shouldn't have taught you that.l.ol. also be nice to jacob because any mean (or playful not so nice things) that you teach him WILL come back to haunt you when you are ready for your own..lol..

I don't get to play auntie too often so I guess I'm really missing out. Your lucky to have jacob right at your finger tips. My sister just cut her trip short in Tampa because she is so paranoid that I'm going to have this baby without her. Needless to say she's very excited about being a first time aunt. LOL
