Danalana replied: Thanks so much, ladies. We actually don't have a problem getting pregnant...it's STAYING pregnant that we have had trouble with. But, I can obviously carry a baby all the way, so I am praying for a sticky baby. I SO don't want to lose anymore, but we want another baby so bad. I have always longed for a girl, though of course I wouldn't take anything for my boys. They are beyond precious! I don't know...I guess I just feel like there is a lot I could share with a girl. And maybe I want that closeness that I have never had with my mother. ANYWAY, yes. If you are one who prays, please pray specifically for my hormones. I have a feeling my early losses are a result of low progesterone, though I have no proof. Before I got pregnant with Kade, I had all that tested and they told me I couldn't have been more healthy. I don't know if progesterone can diminish over time.
My3LilMonkeys replied: Keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you!!!
boyohboyohboy replied: Dana, praying for you and a super sticky baby who is way over due!!!!
Nina J replied: Good luck, Dana! Lots of prayers coming your way
coasterqueen replied: If you are working with a ob/gyn they can give you progesterone to help. I had to take that right after I got pg with Megan. As soon as I found out I started bleeding, so they had me do the progesterone, but it turned out the bleeding was caused by something else.
Danalana replied: Our insurance only covers pregnancy and childbirth. I was considering taking some natural things to boost progesterone, but I read that it can cause problems if you do that and aren't actually low on it.
coasterqueen replied: Why wouldn't insurance cover the progesterone? I mean, if you DO get pg and your doc knows you miscarry often, then to me they'd give you the progesterone the day you find out your pg to help keep the pg, right? Why wouldn't insurance cover that if you are already pg? I know you aren't now, but once you are I think it would be covered if you called and had it issued right away.
Danalana replied: Oh yeah...I didn't think of that. Maybe I could get it tested immediately when I find out I am pregnant. The trouble is that all my losses have been at about 5 weeks. I don't know if I would even have time to get in. With Kade and Carter, I took one baby aspirin a day, as I had read that it helps build up the uterine lining and can help in women who have had repeated early losses. It obviously worked with both of them. I am doing that this cycle again, so I hope it works.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Keeping you in my prayers! I'm so happy and excited for you that you're trying again! You're such a wonderful mom! Good Luck!!
lesliesmom replied: Keeping anything that can be crossed, crossed!!! And sending some extra prayers!
Danalana replied: Thanks, everybody...we actually had an early loss last month...the third one since Carter was born. I am almost dreading the pee stick, because I have had a total of 8 positive pregnancies--2 babies. Don't get me wrong, I would do it all again to get them, but it starts to mess with you after awhile. SO, I'm 4dpo. I ordered a buttload of early result pregnancy tests (well, only 12, really) on the internet. Unfortunately, I might not get them before I need to test. Dumbo me didn't notice they were coming from HONG KONG!
Mommy2Isabella replied: I have the baby itch that I CAN'T SCRATCH, so I hope you get your super sticky baby FOR BOTH OF US
~Roo'sMama~ replied: I'm sorry Dana, I didn't know you'd had another miscarriage. I hope you get a sticky baby this month!! I'm praying for ya!
maestra replied: Dana- I'm so sorry about all of those losses. We are also ttc #4 this month, but you are a few days ahead of me! Hopefully we'll get to do this one together!
MoonMama replied: Good luck!! I have BAD baby fever over here too!!
~*~*STICKY BABY*~*~
Danalana replied: Thanks so much ladies...Michelle, I wish you the best!
Calimama replied: Oh I missed this thread somehow! I'm praying hard for you.
CantWait replied: I totally didn't see this until now and just asked for an update from you in my post earlier today.
Good Luck Dana!!!!!!
CantWait replied: Ahhhh Dana I'm so sorry, I didn't realize you had another loss last month Definitely do get into your doctor as soon as you get that +......they CAN test your Progesterone right away and get you started on supplements, and it really should be covered as a necessary pregnancy expense by insurance.
GL again.
Danalana replied: Thank you, Marie I didn't see your post asking for an update!
Danalana replied: I'm trying really hard to wait til Sunday to test, but I am an impatient person. I am on day 25 of my cycle today, and I am usually pretty regularly 27-29 days. I think I'm 11dpo...it's a good thing I don't have tests in the house.
CantWait replied:
I'm going to have to check in first thing Monday morning for me, or Sunday night......
GL Dana ***sending some BFP dust***
